How are you all? Hope you all are well by the grace of Almighty Allah. Alhamdulillah, I am also very well by the grace of Almighty Allah. Today I am here to participate in the ongoing Contest alert||Sharing my general knowledge week 22 contest in Steem For Pakistan community. 🏑🏑 Hockey is national play of which country?🏑🏑

Hockey is the national sport of Pakistan and India. But, this game was invented in England and it was England that formulated the rules of this game in 1886.

After the establishment of the British Empire in India, they introduced many of their country's laws, culture, and sports in this subcontinent. Hockey entered India during the British rule and became very popular. However, this popularity increased when India won its first Olympic gold in hockey in 1928. By winning this gold, they raised the name of their country on the world stage and continued to win gold in the next six Olympics.

Pakistan won gold in hockey for the first time in 1960 Rome Olympics. Later, Pakistan also won gold several times and as the most successful achievement, they won 4 World Cups in the international hockey game and took their place in the top position in the whole world. That is really commendable.

🏏🏏 Cricket is national play of which country? 🏏🏏

England's national game is cricket. The game of Wrotham originated among young children in a region of England around the 16th century. At that time it was known as the Creek. Later the game spread to adults and as its popularity grew, so did the rules of the game. And the journey of international cricket started with the first international cricket match held between England and Australia in 1877. That is how the children's game called cricket is so popular today on the world stage as cricket.

Football is the undeclared national sport of Brazil. When we hear the name of football, the first two names that come to our minds are Brazil and Argentina. Although Argentina's national sport is not football, their national sport is "pato".
