Weekly Contest - Best Diary Game | A Productive Day with New Order

It was December 17, 2024. I started my day with a little bit of desire because I had to arrange a large t-shirt order for the Nihal Textile shop. My family and I co-run a small business, which began as a retirement project, but currently, it has transformed into a family project. Those days, my son is not with us because he is at my daughter-in-law’s house with his newborn baby. Therefore, I must assume full responsibility for every order with my husband’s support.

I woke up early and prepared two cups of tea for me and my husband, then fed my pet with his meals. Later we did our routine 30-minute walking and light exercise. After returning home, I prepared herbal porridge with green leaves. Later set up hoppers with katta sambal for my hubby and me. I take a shower to freshen up after completing all the duties. We both finished our breakfast at around 8:30 a.m. and got to work setting up the order.

My husband and I first select the t-shirts we have previously dressed when my son sends me the order form over WhatsApp. First, I have to organize the 64 numbers of Pope corn long-sleeved round collar t-shirts from each color. Black, blue, maroon, and gray were my four colors. Because we have L, M, and S sizes, choosing a size for each order is the most challenging part. Since I have three sizes, I divided 64 by three. Finally, I placed twenty L-size t-shirts and twenty-two each of small and medium. I organized 256 t-shirts for the Nihal Shop in this manner.

As per the order, next, I have to select round-collar, two-tones short-sleeve t-shirts, a total of 64 in each color, that is, blue/white and red/white. There were two different styles some t-shirts had a blue top part and a white lower part, while others had a white top part and a blue lower part. Thus, I had to arrange each in large, medium, and small sizes. Not only blue, but there were also maroon in the same way; some have a maroon upper part, while others have a white upper part. There are 256 t-shirts in total. As before, I set up large size 20 t-shirts and medium and small sizes for each of the 22 t-shirts in this order. I placed another order of 256 long-sleeved two-tone t-shirts similar to earlier ones.

After choosing, we rechecked the entire order and tagged our brand name on each t-shirt. We then packed them all in the bags and kept them aside.

Later, I headed to the kitchen to make our lunch, which was rice and curry. We both ate our lunch quickly since we had to leave for Nihal Textile Shop to hand over the order.

My husband and I proceeded to the Nihal store with our order, with a paid worker to carry the bag. There, we handed over the order form and our t-shirts order. They dispatched them to the store after carefully examining each one. After receiving our bill, we proceeded to the account section to obtain our invoice, from which we must afterward collect our money.

My husband and I returned our home, after collecting all these things. On the way, we stopped at the restaurant to buy some snacks for us to eat for our evening tea.

We enjoyed a cup of tea and the snacks we purchased from the restaurant in the evening while talking about our next order to Kandy Textile Shop.

I went to the kitchen to make our dinner while we were talking because it was getting dark. My husband was heating our logo on our new arrival t-shirts while I was preparing our dinner. We use a machine of our own to heat the logo in the front left corner of the t-shirts. My husband is in charge of heating the logo onto t-shirts. In the meantime, I opened my laptop to work on Steemit after making our dinner.

Later that evening, we ate dinner together and watched television, keeping my pet on my lap. I thanked God for the lovely day we had as I headed to bed because it reached to night.
