Every day a man named Ibrahim used to buy oranges from the cart of a lady . Both the lady and her cart were old. The woman's face was covered with wrinkles, it looked as if someone had washed a handkerchief and put it on a wire to dry, and when it was taken off, it was wrinkled like a fishing net. His cart was cracked and rotten and she didn't have much variety of fruits, maybe ten to fifteen dozen of oranges, so customers would pass by her and go to other carts.
The carts Right and left of her were good and they had a lot of fruit, so the old woman did not had any customer while the carts beside her have many customers. She stood silently looking at her broken cart or sometimes at the oranges placed in front of. That clerk always bought oranges from the old lady. On the day the old woman did not pull the cart, he went home empty-handed.
Who was he? He was a clerk in WAPDA, he was stuck in a book of files all day and in the evening he left for home on his old and tired bike, but he did not stop, he also picked up his wife on the way. His wife was a school teacher, she used to tutor children after school hours and wait for her husband. The clerk used to leave the office and take his wife and then both of them left for home but no no. Both of them used to buy oranges from the road and only from this old lady.

Now buying oranges was not even a crime, thousands of not millions of people in the world buy the fruit every day but the real problem was completely different. After buying the malt, the clerk would peel a healthy and large malt, break off a straw and taste it, and then give the whole malt to the old woman and say: It's sour, just check it. The old woman used to taste and laugh and say: Bao Ji! This is sweet. The clerk used to laugh after hearing this
And he used to say: Well then you eat this and after that he started the bike and left for home.

The wife used to watch this game every day. She said to him one day: What is this drama you are doing everyday, peeling the cooked sweet malta and giving it to the old woman, I don't understand you. The clerk laughed and replied: One day you look carefully at this woman's face and you will see poverty along with hunger. I do only one good thing a day I feed her a malta I see every day as soon as she feels the sweetness of the malta the poverty of her face for a moment fades away and the shadow of contentment and peace is waved.

I do all this drama for this one moment, I don't drink tea during the day, I save that money, I save petrol by driving my bike fast, I borrow ten or twelve rupees from you and then collect the money of malts. I come here. I buy oranges and find a nice and sweet orange and feed her and believe me, this is the only good thing I do all day.
With tears in the eyes of the clerk's wife, she took his hand and pressed it to her lips. He didn't know how big of a wall he was building in his house.
