One Picture And One Story Week #65
I hope everyone is well by the grace of Allah. I am also well, Alhamdulillah. Today I am going to participate in the "1 picture 1 story" contest organized by our honorable mam @suboohi. So let's get started. |

First, the students protested against the quota system in the field of jobs. Because in any job, more than half of the people would get jobs due to various types of quotas, but many talented people were deprived of jobs because of this quota. So the students basically protested against this quota so that the quota would be reduced. After many movements, the government finally accepted the students' words and closed the remaining quotas while maintaining the 7% quota. But then the real game began. After accepting this, the government made the biggest mistake by arresting the coordinators of this movement and mass arresting students in Dhaka. Because of this, the movement became more intense.
Then students from all universities, schools and colleges across the country joined this movement. But the police shot Abu Said, a student of Begum Rokeya University in Rangpur, in the chest and he died. Because of which people from all over the country came out on the streets and the movement became more intense. Then slowly this quota movement turned into a movement to overthrow the government. But even after all this, the government of our country is not willing to give up power. He brought all the law enforcement forces of the country, including the police, to the streets and imposed a curfew. But the Bangladesh Army did not shoot at any common man; they were on the side of the people.
Because the Bangladesh Army was on the side of the people, the fall of the country's government became much easier. Because if the Bangladesh Army had shot at the people, people would not have gone into the movement out of fear. There have even been incidents where the police were killing students and the army went and saved the common man from the hands of the police. After so many movements, when they saw that the Bangladesh Army was on the side of the people, they were forced to submit their resignation to the army chief on August 5 and fled the country, and our Bangladesh became independent for the second time. And people everywhere started holding victory processions. After that, various arts and writings were created on the streets to commemorate this movement. This picture has been created in the same way.
So friends, this was my post for today. I hope you like it. Please forgive any mistakes. I am inviting @shuhad, @mou.sumi and @rony-hafiz to participate in this competition. |
