November: My View, Myself Wk46.
Greetings and welcome friends, I'm really glad to have you here as I share my experiences with you about this past month, November.
What do you understand by the word November? |
---|
November is the eleventh month of the year in the Gregorian calendar, has 30 days and comes after October. Here in Nigeria, November is the time we move from the rainy season into the dry season and it opens the doors to the harmattan season as well where the weather starts to get colder and the air dryer with more dust in the atmosphere.
November is also regarded as a month of gratitude as it is the month of Thanksgiving especially in countries like the United States, where Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday. During which family and friends gather to share a big meal and give thanks for what they have and the year in general. In Nigeria, November can also bring about trees losing their leaves and the days getting hotter.
Tell us a brief story of what you experienced in November |

The month of November 2024 has been truly unforgettable, starting with my uncle's marriage ceremony. The wedding was a fantastic celebration filled with happiness with beautiful decorations of colorful flowers and lights, creating a festive atmosphere.
Watching my uncle and his bride exchange vows was really special; I could feel the love and excitement in the air. Everyone was dressed up, and there was so much laughter and joy all around, not forgetting food as there was much to eat for every. It was a great reminder of how beautiful family gatherings can be.
After the wedding, I traveled to Uyo for the National Steemians Meetup which was scheduled to hold on the 30th. It was a unique experience because I finally got to meet people I had only interacted with online. So it was amazing to finally see people I had only seen in messages and posts. We shared stories, laughed, and connected over our shared interests.
The energy was fantastic, and it felt like I was meeting old friends instead of new ones. I must say the food was delicious too, and we all enjoyed our moments together.
Based on your numerous experiences was November good or quite bad to you? |

November was definitely a good month for me as I joined and celebrated with my uncle in his wedding, which was a joyful occasion. Celebrating such a significant event with family is always special and there was a lot of love and happiness in the air.
Then, going to Uyo for the national Steemians meetup added even more excitement. Meeting people I've only known online in person was a thrilling experience. It was great I connected with others who share similar interests and we had a lot of fun sharing stories, ideas and enjoying good moments together.
Overall, November was filled with positive experiences and meaningful connections, making it a month for me to remember fondly for a long long time.
What are your plans for December 2024? |
---|
December is widely known as the month of love, so I am really excited about this month as I look forward to celebrating Christmas with my family with a big family gathering and I can’t wait to see everyone again after a long time, so we can decorate our house with colourful lights and ornaments. I don't know why, but then Christmas rice always hits differently and I can't wait for some as I can't seem to forget the aroma of Christmas rice coming from the kitchen.
I would also like to take some time to relax and reflect on this year by spending a few days just chilling at home, watching movies, and enjoying the holidays. I also look forward to catching up with friends I have not seen in a while. Therefore, my plans for December is to engage with family, relax, share love and hope it will be filled with excitement and joy.
I want to take this opportunity to invite @starrchris, @ruthjoe and @tripple-e.
Thank You for your Time
NOTE: Always have a smile on your face, as you are never fully dressed without one.
