"One Picture And One Story Week #58".
That night, the rain fell heavily until only the sound of rain on the zinc and the rumbling of the sky could be heard clearly. Occasionally the sky was so bright and suddenly black again. I just sat by the bedroom window alone and the rest of the family had all fallen asleep.
I couldn't sleep and just stared outside the house, the rain falling - with a blank, empty gaze and thoughts drifting to memories of the past. How beautiful I imagined my childhood if it rained like this. Wow, I would run around and bathe under the sky that rained the earth with rainwater.
It felt really fun at that time and I would bathe in the rain until my body felt cold, the soles of my feet and hands shriveled and my lips trembled. We bathed together with the other children. We would run around each other, play hide and seek in the rain and scream as hard as we could to overcome the sound of the heavy rain.
Without realizing it, time continued to pass, I grew up and it was impossible for me to bathe in the rain like before. Now all I can do is go to the kitchen to prepare hot snacks, make hot ginger tea to warm my body.
Rain.. Always creates beautiful memories in our mind's memory. From the rain I learned how to love someone who is very far away, see how the sky loves the earth, by the way water droplets are sent to the earth.
Rain brings longing, these eyes slowly close remembering the beautiful moments of the past with the people we love, sometimes I dream of being with the people I miss when it rains like this.
Sometimes with the falling rain, tears fall, becoming rain that I want to hide from them. Rain is a beautiful blessing from God for us for life.
If only it rained during the day, maybe it would ruin my day. And let it fall at night, my heart becomes better and comfortable being in the room with the sound of rain as beautiful relaxation music for me.
