It's your favorite Steemian @rakiya from Nigeria and I'm delighted to join in this contest organized by @abdullahw2 in this noble community today. It's a wonderful contest and I love to share my participation in it.
Tell us about your birthday. When it is celebrated or occurs?
My birthday is always celebrated on the 21st day of May every year. I don't usually celebrate it big because I don't have much money so all I do every year is to go to studio and then snap pictures which I usually post on social media like Facebook and WhatsApp.
Since I hardly celebrate it in a big way because of lack of finance, I always just sit back at home.afyer.my post and then receive text messages or gifts from friemds and loved once. I'm planning to make it a bit bigger someday when I have the money but for now I will always do it in a smaller way.
How do you celebrate your birthday? With family or friends? Or with both?
Well, I celebrate most of my birthday with friends since the day of the birthday always falls when I'm in school. My friends will always organise something no matter how small for me in celebration of my birthday.
So whenever this birthday period comes, I always feel so special because I always see the different post made by others for me on social media and also I receive calls and gift present and many more all the time this celebration is done.
I must say it is always fun celebrating with my friend because they always do some crazy thing just to get me happy and also enjoy the moment. So for the past 2-3 years I have been celebrating this with my friends.
Share the best ever gift that you have received on your birthday. Who gave it to you?
The best ever gift I got on my birthday was the gift of a phone. This gift was given to me by my parents. On my last 2 birthdays, my parents surprised me by coming to the school and gave me a gift of the current phone I'm using.
So that phone is what I'm using till this moment. Before now I was using a button phone so they got me an android phone though the capacity is low but atleast it was the best gift I have received in recent times.
If you were asked to invite two of your Steemian friends to celebrate your birthday, which two friends would you invite?
The two friends I will like to invite to join me in my birthday celebration is my teacher and mentor @simonnwigwe and his brother and friend @josepha. They both have helped me so much and have contributed to my growth here on this platform so if I have the honour to invite someone then it should be them.
I'm sure that they won't reject my invitation and they will be so glad and delighted to be among those who will come along side others for the celebration.

Wow what an implict article you have here dear friend, indeed birthdays are for pleasant and surprisingly time especially when we are celebrating with friends and family because make us feel happy and enrich us with laughter.
