Contest Alert ⚠️ 1 Picture 1 Story Week #61
Hello..!!
My Dear Friends,
I am @mueeinislam from #Bangladesh 🇧🇩
Greetings to all my dear Steemian friends, how are you all? I hope you are all well by the grace of Allah. Alhamdulillah I am also very well. I am with you today Steem For PakistanCommunity. Organized "Contest Alert ⚠️ 1 Picture 1 Story Week #61" I am glad to find this beautiful contest. Before participating in this competition I first thank the organizer of this competition @suboohi ma'am who organized such a beautiful competition for us. So let's get started -----
We all know that Chandpur is the home of hilsa which is very famous for hilsa. But Mawa ferry ghat in Munshiganj district near Dhaka has been famous for hilsa for food lovers for quite some time. However, as it is within Dhaka and the road system is very good, it is always crowded with tourists.
Various travel lovers and foodies flock to Mawa Ferry Ghat, Munshiganj from different parts of Bangladesh to eat Padma Hilsa Vaja. However, not only hilsa fish is available here! Rather, there are various marine species of fish here. It can be thought that it is great fun to fry the fresh hilsa fish caught by the fishermen from the river.
Mawa ferry ghat in Munshiganj district is the most famous for all of us day trip within Dhaka. Mawa ferry ghat in Munshiganj district is located at the beginning of Padma bridge or Padma bank. It takes about 30 minutes or 1 hour to go there by private car from around Dhaka. So our office friends all together, we all chose this place to have padma hilsa bhaja at Mawa ferry ghat and go around.
The elder brothers of our office, talked to all of us and organized a trip to Mawa Ferighat in Munshiganj district a week in advance! I have never been to Mawa Ferighat before, so this is the first time I will go to Mawa Ferighat with my office friends to eat hilsa fish and go around. We were a total of 26 people on the Mawa Ferry Ghat trip, out of which (5 people) were office staff.
Our departure date for Mawa ferry wharf was Thursday 7th November at 11:00 pm. In front of our office, the car will be dropped off from a highway and will go to Mawa ferry wharf. So today, after finishing the office work, I came home from the office, freshened up and got ready. Then all of us started gathering in Biswa Road in front of our office to go to Mawa. As my office is near Bishwa Road from home, I also rushed to the car.
An elder brother of our office has all the responsibility of going to and from Mawa ferry port, he has hired two HiAce cars. From Shibu Market Fatulla to Mawa Ferry Ghat. At night, two highs come in front of our office as usual. It's 11 o'clock at night, except for a few people, everyone is coming to the car. Then slowly the rest of our friends approached our car. Everyone is already approaching the car. After talking for a while, we all got into the car. After that I left for Mawa ferry ghat.
We all finally reached Mawa Ferry Ghat after 1 hour journey to eat hilsa. We came near the ghat with our two cars and parked our two cars there on one side. We all got down from the car, went to a tea shop under a chawni next to the car and sat down. As we sat and talked in the tea shop, the tea shop's brother said that people's shenanigans here always happen at night. Because at night, everyone from far and wide comes to this Mawa ferry wharf to eat fried hilsa and go around.
Our office elder brothers buy 6 packs of hilsa fish from Nirala Hotel & Restaurant at Mawa ferry ghat. The weight of 6 pieces of hilsa fish was 6 kg 900 grams. The price of which is 10 thousand 410 taka. After taking hilsa fish from that restaurant, their people cut the hilsa fish, clean it and cook it.
Then we all sat inside the restaurant of Nirala Hotel, after a while they served all the dishes in front of us. After the dishes were served in front of us, we had our fill of hilsa fried hilsa tail bharta, fried brinjal, and dal.
After finishing our meal, the hotel was paid in full. The full bill for food and drink at our Nirala Hotel and Restaurant was Rs. 14500. After paying the hotel, we all headed towards the ghat. At night there was a great atmosphere by the river. I took a few photos there with the older brothers in our office, and gave them a few too. After we were done taking pictures there, we all sat at a gate of the river, gossiped and passed the time. I can't tell you the fun I had when I first came to Mawa Ferry Ghat.
We spent the night at the Mawa ferry wharf, exploring the riverside, and the fair. He also bought many things from his elder brother's fair there. After wandering around there, we finally drove home at 6 am.
I would like to invite some of my steemian friends to participate in this 1 Picture 1 Story Week #61. I would like to invite my friends @tammanna, @imranhassan, @mdkamran99, & @max-pro, to participate in this contest.
Best Regards
