How many of us were using Let's chat, if you do , you will remember that was on of the popular app with multiple usage, the fun part of it is that you can use it to make free calls with family both video and audio calls even without wasting your data.

Even when the person is not online or Using a button phone , you can still reach out to the person through external call. But unfortunately I felt sad when I noticed that it's no longer functioning again.

what am trying to explain here is the digital connection and influence on our lives today. We make use of this devices everyday for communication. Let's look into full devices of this digital devices.

One of the most use messaging app is I use most the WhatsApp. or I may say it's runs in my devices 24 hour. And the fun part of this application is that with every update new function is being activated which makes it more fun and interesting to use.

I can use WhatsApp to do a lot of activities when working and even in my free time. I use it to communicate with my boss because she prefer using it to send the prices of goods and the latest information. I use it to communicate with my friends as well as doing video calls, audio calls, chatting, sharing some feelings and moment in my status, Following some of my favourite celebrities and creating a community and group to connect with people.

All this can be done with less data and conveniently at anytime. Whatsapp is my favourite messaging app or Social media.

Let's talk about how the whatsapp affected the way I connect with others in the positive way. Chatting in Whatsapp can be fun and only what you need is the person phone number, After Saving the person phone number you can now , view the person status, chat, video call, audio call, add to group and create a community today.

Since I have joined steemit I haven't met any steemian in person but I do in Whatsapp, I have chatted with many of them, I have been in a group WhatsApp chat, we have been sharing experience and skills, both the achievements and connections in other to do better in steemit. So it's affected me in a positive way in the aspect of communicating with people with people all over the world conveniently.

How it's affected the way I connect with others in a negative ways is that some of this people can be dangerous and harmful. There's always a case of hacking someone Whatsapp. One happened in my present, my boss friend was chatting with a stranger but suddenly, The person ask for code in a text message, within a second, the WhatsApp was hacked, using it to send all my boss friend relative to send him money.

One of our customers also experienced this when his WhatsApp was hacked and it's was use in asking people to send him Money. I got the same message but what helps me is that I knew the man can't do such a thing. He ask me to send him 20 thousand urgently and promise to repay, I knew something was wrong.

So the negative side is that connecting with people can be fun but at the same time it can be a negative experience when chatting with a stranger, which may result in hacking and so on.

• Technology has help a lot interms of creativity because I know I have improved. For example when I was writing a post yesterday, I thought of using my own image in the post about bad habits and I began taking some pictures on some of the considered bad habit. Technology has help in taking some casual pictures perfectly

• Technology Increased the access to Information: through technology I can easily get access to information and resources that can inspire me for creative ideas.

• Technology also provides new tools for creative expression like how to edit my photos using light room and perfect photo studio.

• Technology has made it easier for me to collaborate and share my photography work with others. Through social media platforms I can connect with others who share their interests in photography and receive feedback on their work.

The digital tools I like most to express myself is a Photography. I can use Photo editing software like Adobe Lightroom or brush too edit and enhance photos. I do this at my leisure time because I admire some beautiful post online especially the ones edited by smartphone. I was very happy when I joined WhatsApp group last year where the organizer explained how to use Lightroom to edit our pictures and I tried some pictures and it came out perfectly. I also learned how to use a raw photo to create the image. Here is one my editing on Lightroom.

In conclusion, Digital connection has help our lives in a way of communicating with people anywhere, improving our creativity and connecting with other people for more creative ideas. Though this social media might look harmless, we need to be careful because there's danger out there.
