What is Shaheed Minar :- Shaheed Minar is the national monument of Bangladesh, built on February 21, 1952 to commemorate the martyrs of the language movement. It is located in the city of Dhaka and is a symbol of sacrifice for the Bengali language.
Story of the above image: Located next to Sakhipur Upazila Field in Tangail District, this Shaheed Minar is an important place in the history of Bangladesh's freedom struggle. It is built in memory of the local martyrs of Sakhipur. Who sacrificed their lives during the liberation war in 1971.
The Shaheed Minar is a symbolic place for the local people, where every year on February 21 International Mother Language Day, programs are organized to honor language martyrs and remember the martyrs of the Liberation War.
The Shaheed Minar has been established by the joint initiative of the educational institutions of Sakhipur, various social organizations and the local people. It is a place of pride and reverence for the people of Sakhipura. I took this picture because I remembered this memory when I visited here at exactly 8 pm.
