"My Favourite Book Review".
Hello dear friends ....
Hope you are all doing good, it's your girl @mar-tha from Nigeria, I'm so happy to share my entry on this week contest organised by @muhammad-ahmad in this great community.
My favourite Book that I love and that sometimes actually moved my soul is ""Things Fall Apart" by Chinua Achebe".
Thing's Fall Apart is a landmark to a modern African literature. Dated back towards the end of 19th century, the novel tells the story of Okonkwo, a strong-willed and sophisticated Igbo Man living in what is currently the southeastern Nigeria. Over Okonkwo's struggles and victories, Achebe explores the themes of cultural heritage colonial impacts and the humanity.
Chinua Achebe's write up categorically and atmospheric, transporting all readers like me, in to a richly detailed concerning the Igbo cultures and tradition. Achebe's characters in the novel are highly multidimensional and understandable, with Mr Okonkwo being a particularly compelling protagonist. With a remarkable skills, Achebe's merges historical facts, mythology and personal testimony resulting to work and emotional impacts.
Seriously, as a woman like me, I'm moved about the Story of Okonkwo's in this book "Things Fall Apart" the book again is a thought-provoking exploration of the complexities of cultural identity and the impact of colonialism on traditional societies. Chinua Achebe's novel is an imaginative counter-narrative concerning the dominant of Western perspectives on Africa and its people, especially in the Igbo societies.
It is a book that I will definitely implore all my steemians friends to go through It, if you want to know more about African culture and traditions then "Things Fall Apart" by Chinua Achebe's is your destination. As such, I want to invite @goodybest @ruthjoe and @jyoti-thelight to also share their views on the contest.
Thank you friends for stoping by to read my post... I'm grateful 🙏... @mar-tha.
