My body, My choice.

Starting in the late 1960s and early 1970s, the my body, my choice movement took roots among feminist right activist who were fighting for women's right to control their own bodies and reproductive choices.
The phrase became synonymous with the pro-choice movement in their effort to legalize abortion in their 1973 landmark victory at the Supreme Court case Roe v. Wade. The pro-choice movement with their my body my choice slogan has continued to evolve and it's still a controversial and polarizing issue for many today as some are fully in support of its ideals while others are only in partial support with another group totally against the movement and what it stands for.

The bodily Autonomy Argument.

Building on the fundamental right to bodily Autonomy which is based on the premise that Everyone has the right to control what happens to their own body, which includes decisions about their personal appearance medical treatment and reproduction without interference from others, including a husband and the government.
For this reasons I can't be in full support of the my body my choice concept because it runs against the ideals of marriage where a spouse has a lot to say when you are making a choice. It will promote a selfish and self-centered relationship. Importantly, because this is all founded to give a mother the right to kill an unborn child simply because it is developing in your body.
What happened to protecting the voiceless and powerless. Where is the right of the unborn? If our mother had invoked such rights, we would be flushed.

The issue of birth control.

Birth control, be it temporary or permanent has lots of effects on the user. In the case of a couple who are not in a committed relationship, a person will not comfortably sacrifice so much for something they are not sure of. Imagine a permanent vasectomy followed by a bad breakup.
On the other hand, When the parties involved are married couples, it's easy to arrive at a mutual consent after a carful deliberation of it's pros and cons. Some men are ready to undergo vasectomy and other procedures that best meets the need of the couple.
Within the conference of marriage and it's commitment, the load can easily be carried with love by caring husbands. It can be shared through mutual agreement.

If a woman has rights over her body, and may decide whether or not to abort a pregnancy, do you think men also have rights over their pockets, to decide whether or not to take responsibilities and support the child?

Let's say a man has sex with a woman (friends with benefits) and she gets pregnant. she claimed right over her body and aborts the pregnancy.
It happens again with another man and she says she will keep the baby this time. The question here is can the man also say my money my choice and decide not to be involved in caring for the child. The modern world has no real standards of right and wrong with everyone striving to be as selfish as possible.
In my culture, some time in the pass, the judgment will be simple. He will marry the woman and care for the child. The village Community will inforce it and the man involved may likely be given a fine for shaming the girls family.

Do you agree that a person's right over there body should allow one to change their gender at will? Please explain.

With a lot of rights made available to people, anyone can do anything and nobody has the right to interfere. To such persons, you may do as you wish.
On the other hand, if you are in support of the old rules that restricted actions and had a standard for right and wrong behaviors. Then to such, it's totally unacceptable.

Is it possible to hold and express a contrary view without imposing it on others?. Please explain.

Yes it's possible to hold on to an opinion, express it as a personal conviction without insisting that others should adopt it as a standard. If your argument is logical enough, someone may see the value in your way and follow voluntarily without being forced.

Conclusion.

This is my view point, it is not a rule so you are not expected to follow it if it's not appealing to you. Following it has its own advantage and disadvantages. And you are totally free to express a contrary opinion.
