Greetings to my expensive Steemian buddies, how are you all?I wish you are all properly through the grace of Allah. Alhamdulillah, I am also well. Today I have come to take part within the "One Picture and One Story Week #72 " competition run with the aid of my pricey admin.@suboohi madam of the Steem for Pakistan Community. This is a very satisfactory competition. I am glad to have this pleasant opposition. So let's start

One Picture and One Story

The daily routine unfolded without any interruptions during that typical night. The evening was at its peak and Sabuj regained the handles to his bike after all his chats with friends. The passing wind blew gently as electric street lamps switched their lights periodically. The city became less active with each passing moment.

The road became empty so Sabuj pushed his bike to fast speeds. A truck appeared around the next intersection. His attempt to stop the bike proved ineffective as he lost control. Eight seconds later all became chaotic.

The surroundings were silent. A mixture of blood spilled into the black asphalt. The truck came to a stop just few yards ahead while its driver chose to drop the vehicle and escape. Some passersby came running. Someone called an ambulance. Sabuj remained motionless with his breathing showing signs of decline.

Medical staff at the hospital emergency department conducted their best efforts to treat him. Finally the doctor emerged to announce that Sabuj was alive despite his condition.

The anxious parents had gone without any heartbeats while they waited. The doctor voiced his opinion that amputation of one of Sabuj's legs became the necessary medical procedure.

Life changed completely for Sabuj. His eternal love for speed came to a permanent halt. One brief incident during the tragic night transformed every aspect of his life forever.
