Hello everyone, I finally found some time to participate in this contest.

This photo you see was taken at Punta San Vigilio, a beautiful peninsula located in the municipality of Garda, on Lake Garda, one of the largest lakes in Italy.
It's a very special place, to which I am deeply connected because my grandfather always used to take me here when I was a child. We would always come here to swim in the lake during the summer, and sometimes even in the winter.
So, every now and then, when I pass by, I always stop to observe this place, which, fortunately, has kept its charm over the years.
This is also a very romantic place, where many couples come for a romantic walk, and I have also done so with my ex-girlfriends. It is said to be one of the most romantic spots in Europe, so I invite you all to discover it as well.

In the past, important people such as Napoleon, Tsar Alexander II, and Winston Churchill have walked here, as they often vacationed in this part of Lake Garda.
Particularly, the villa you see in the photo is Villa Guarienti, attributed to the famous architect Sanmicheli, which dominates this part of the harbor.
I would really love to live here and wake up every morning with a view of the lake; it would certainly be very relaxing, but it would also stir up a bit of nostalgia and sadness as it would remind me every day of my grandfather, who has been gone for many years.
