I want to participate in this contest as was invited by a friend @chiomzy810 about women's day. It is of important to celebrate this day for women, a global occasion to honor women's achievement and to empower women.

WHY WE SHOULD CELEBRATE WOMEN'S DAY?

The reason why women's day is celebrated is to help raise awareness about ongoing issues related to gender equality and women's rights.

It is a day globally for celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievement s of women.

It is an opportunity to unite and mobilize meaningful change, violence and abuse against women.

AT WOMEN'S DAY OF 2024,WHICH LADY YOU WANT TO HIGHLIGHT WHICH HAS BEEN INFLUENTIAL FOR YOU IN YOUR LIFE?

On this day, I celebrate my two senior sisters who have been influential in my life positively.
On women's day, I call them and pray with them since we are far away from each other and reminded them of what an awesome women they truly are. I have felt their care and protection my whole life. I thank God for giving me the best sisters and mother.

They are always there through thick and thin, very supportive and compassionate. Without them, life would have been miserable and I pray for more grease on their elbow.

Yes, I celebrated the women's day 2024 in a grand style. It happens on a Sunday while in church, women were given opportunity to thank God Almighty. Children gave gift to the women and the preacher admonish women to live an examplary life for the young girls to emulate.

HAVE WOMEN GAINED THEIR EQUAL RIGHTS AFTER A LOT OF CELEBRATIONS OF WOMEN'S DAY?(WHAT OPINION YOU HAVE ON IT)

Well, they have in one way or the other gain . Rape! The word rings with chilling horror in the ears of women. It aroused up thought of physical pain, humiliation, despair and rejection. How much more when the assault is a family member.

Society offers help but the ultimate hope lies in the love and acceptance offered by God. He alone understands, He alone can provide the comfort that soothes the deepest hurt.

Inconclusion , as a woman I request that women should be given an equal right for they are the pillars of the nation. I joined hands with my friends @rajusam, @shifttitanna and @ninapenda to participate in this contest.
