"One Picture And One Story Week #35".

Hello, Steemians! Trust you all are doing good. It's another week to write a story about a picture. Thank you @suboohi for bringing this contest up .

This is all about a girl named Esther!
She was 10 years old when she started high school. Gaining admission into her school of choice came with a lot of struggles for her parents. The forms were sold out already before her parents learnt about it. Hopefully, there was someone who had two slots to give out but had four potential students to give the slot to , Esther was included in those four. She was lucky to be amongst the chosen two.

Esther started schooling and each time she came home from school, mum would always tell her to pay the price and aim for the prize. She took those words personal and started working towards adhering to mummy's advice and by association aiming for the prize.

Although, she didn't have the luxury others had, she stood on the business of making the best out of school and get to mum with the prize.
She made sure she took her studies serious; attended classes as when due, worked on her assignments, went for prep. classes and read at night, did her best doing examinations and had good results.

Getting a prize in her school entailed getting the best scores (the best three). Those persons were always given certificates and prizes during the school's prize giving day. Her mum was always expectant whenever it was prize giving dayin Esther's school and it was a thing of joy to her mum that she never disappointed. She always made sure that she made the list of the top three students for each subject she offered. Mum would always go home on that day with her hands full of prizes.
Indeed she made mum proud and she got the prizes she paid prices for.
