After how many days old RBC die and new RBC forms?

It is important to realise that human RBCs have a circulating life span of almost 120 days for the human body. From here they are taken and destroyed by the spleen and liver and passing again through the whole body.

The method of manufacturing new numbers of RBCs is called erythropoiesis that occurs in the bone marrow. The hormone erythropoietin, which is synthesised in response to low levels of oxygen in the blood, usually by the kidneys, promotes the production of new RBCs.

As old RBCs are aged and cleared from the circulation new ones are produced to take their place. This helps in that the body is always supplied with oxygen carrying red blood cells at all times. The generation and elimination of RBC’s are lowered so that the body’s necessary oxygen levels could be maintained and our general wellbeing.

Olives contains which vitamin in rich amount?

We know that olives are high in vitamin E and vitamin E is a fat-soluble antioxidant that addresses the problem of free radicals in the cells. Free radicals are reactive molecules which if not neutralized can create enhanced oxidation in the body hence injuring cells and prompting inflammation.

Olives also contain other nutrients such as monounsaturated fatty acids, these are beneficial oils that when consumed reduce cholesterol levels in the body and hence the incidence of heart diseases. It is also rich in fiber that assists in digestion and makes its consumers to be wary of their sugar intake.

In a nutshell, olives are a healthy food and incorporating it in your meals can be benefical to your health. They are common in Mediterranean cooking and taste good in such items as salads, pastas, and tapenades. However, do keep an eye on servings because olives are typically high in sodium because of the brining process they go through.

Thanks for reading my post I'm inviting @eluustanley, @pea07 and @rad-austine to participate.
