SEC-S17 /W4| "Why do you Prefer Steemit Only?
What were your hopes while signing up for Steemit for the first time?
I got to know about this beautiful community from a friend. She introduced me and some of my other friends to this community at that time i needed something that will fetch me extra cash due to some financial burdens i had.
Without sugar coating words i joined steemit with the hope of making money and although i knew that no one owed me anything i still prayed for people to vote my post so i could make money at that time. Not until i started understanding what the platform is all about and the lady who introduced me kept teaching me and made me understand what the platform is about.
I had to drop the mindset of money and learn. I read post and am amazed at the creative contents i see. Have learnt alot joining this platform and am still learning. Steemit has helped me channel my love for writing. I was confused how to begin at first but joining this platform i would say have grown and am still growing.
Your challenges faced while achieving your financial or blogging goals?
Any one will love it for their post to be voted for. Some of the challenges i faced at first was not getting enough votes like i said earlier got involved in the platform due to finances so at first it was not encouraging but dealing with that mindset have helped me to appreciate any vote that my post gets.
Your inspiration on Steemit?
My inspiration on steemit is a person alexenderpeace she inspires and encourage me. I stopped posting in steemit for a while due to some issues have been having but from time to time i just come on the platform even if am not posting. Also the classes that are held on the steem4nigeria-learning center have been of great help to me. We are taught about alot of things on steemit and how it works. Improving on our post and what and what we should not do.
Your happy story due to Steemit?
My happy story on steemit is indeed an happy one. I recently had some financial problems like i said and was able to settle majority of it due to the steems i made. It went a long way to settle alot of things and i was very grateful for support. I don't know how i would have been able to go about it if not for the steemit platform.
