So I believe that everyone is of good doing, and I hope all is good and I trust everything is going smoothly for you, so I send my warm greetings to the entire Steemit for Pakistan family. So although am extremely excited to be part of this amazing contest arranged by @saintkelvin17, which focuses on the market.
So what is the meaning of the word "market"?
In my own interpretation and simplifying it for a layperson, I would say that a MARKET* is a place where buyers and sellers come together.
In simpler terms, a market is where different parties can meet to carry out economic transactions, including those that do not involve legal tender.
So on this case a market transaction can involve goods, services, information, currency, or any combination that is exchanged between parties.
Actually, I am not someone who enjoys going to the market frequently. However, I do end up going to the market around three times a month, especially during festive seasons, which are the peak times for shopping.
I usually make my market visits on specific days each month. This usually happens when my mother is unable to go herself, and I step in to help out either by supplying goods or picking up items for cooking. It can be a bit stressful at times, especially since the route to the market isn't direct from my house. Despite the stress, I find the experience enjoyable because it's fun to interact with different individuals who have unique personalities. In summary, I visit the market at least three times a month, and each visit is filled with interesting interactions with diverse people.
My mother was not around as she had traveled for August meeting. My father gave me 4500 Naira to purchase the items I neededto prepare stew, but I was unsure about the prices. When I reached the market, I bought tomatoes, meat, groundnut oil, and realized that my money was running low. I panicked and thought I had lost money, so i went around the market searching for the money as everyone was sympathimg on me, but after careful calculations, I realized that I hadn't misplaced anything. The cost of goods had increased dramatically, and what used to be affordable was now out of reach for many.
In Nigeria, the prices of goods in the market are rising on a daily basis. So in that case, I will share the selling prices of goods according to my area.

Rice, a staple food, has seen a drastic price increase, making it difficult for many families to afford. The price of a 50kg bag ranges from 70,000 to 105,000 Naira depending on the type and brand.

¡Saludos amigo!🤗
