How are you all friends? I hope everyone will be fine with the grace of Allah. I am proud of your mercy and love. Today I am here with another movie review. The movie I am reviewing today is The Contractor which was released on 1st April 2022. So let's begin.

James (Chris Pine), serving in the US Army, uses illegal steroids for a knee injury that causes him to be discharged from the army. After being fired from his job, James and his family are in financial trouble. James then contacts his military friend Mike (Ben Foster), who is much better off financially after retiring from the military. Mike says he works for a private military contractor company run by an ex-army named Rusty (Kiefer Sutherland) who pays him well for his work. He also asks James to join him.

But James is reluctant to work for a private army out of a sense of duty to his country. Mike then assures James that Rusty works for the Department of Defense. James finally agrees to meet with Rusty after seeing Mike's financial solvency. Rusty talks to James and convinces him to work for him. James had his first operation in Germany. A scientist named Dr. Salem is monitoring and reporting this to Rusty. Dr. James for several days. When Rusty sent all the information to Salem, Rusty said that Dr. Salim is working to develop a bio-agent for al-Qaeda. Dr. Rusty James. Ordered to raid Salem's lab and get all the research data.

Dr. Mike's team entered the lab that night with great confidence. Salim was taken prisoner and all his research data was destroyed. Then Mike said. Ordering to kill Salem, James shoots him and sets the lab on fire and everyone escapes. While escaping, they were confronted by the police. In the shootout with the police, Mike was injured and the rest of the team died. James then rescues the injured Mike and hides in a nearby underground tunnel.

Mike realizes he is going to die, so asks James to take care of his family. James then saves Mike's life with blood. Mike recovers and prepares for Rusty's return, but James' knee injury holds James back. Mike then decides to finish the operation alone, telling James to rest. Mike also assures James that they will save him from a certain place when he gets better.

When James recovers a bit, he goes to the hotel Mike told him about, but neither Mike nor Rusty are there. James gets a burner phone to contact Rusty. Rusty says a car is waiting for him. When James was too late to approach the car, a group of gunmen appeared and opened fire on James. James managed to escape from there. James said again. Dr. went to Salim's house. Saleem's wife threatens Sylvie with information about Saleem's research. Sylvie gives James her husband's iPad. Dr. James iPad. Plays a video of Salem. In the video Dr. Salim said they have been able to develop an H5N1 vaccine that they want to give away for free without selling it to pharmaceutical companies. Everything becomes clear to James.

James returned to the country before everyone noticed. Tracks Mike back home. Mike then says that Rusty told him that James is dead. The two then plan to get revenge on Rusty. Mike hides James in the car and drives him to Rusty's house. As they enter Rusty's house, they ambush Rusty's guards. While everyone is worried about the attack, James sneaks into Rusty's house. James arrests Rusty.

Rusty fatally wounds Mike before being shot. Mike dies on the way. James was finally able to return to his family.

My opinion

The movie The Contractor starring Chris Pine was full of tension. After being discharged from the army, Mike went against his conscience and faced various criminal and complications. Despite his guilty conscience, he ultimately has to choose money. These emotions are expressed by Chris Pine in a very good way through acting. Kiefer Sutherland played Rusty.

Loved the cinematography. The choice of location was quite good.

Now i would like say thanks to all of steemian who visit and suppy my post.
