Painted childhood dream🏡

in Steem For Pakistanyesterday (edited)

Drawing a cottage in the woods is a mandatory thing for every child while growing up. We started drawing these houses on computers enthusiastically.

Making a house, road, lawn, swing, mountains, and the mighty Sun

A cute house having a door and windows is all it takes to build a home.

It is so innocent of us that we still want to draw these houses no matter how childish they look.

Deep down we all want to own them and live there and explore the nature. The nature that is so calm and surreal that it makes us forget about our worries.

Therefore one day a child inside my heart thought to relive nostalgia again and to draw this beauty.

And here we are. Does it look complete to you? That's for you to observe...

When I first drew its sketch and sent it to my best friend, she immediately said:
you're drawing our childhood house;it looks the same.

I laughed and said, Because I drew them, that's why.

This scenery had many aspects to focus on, like painting:

  • sky and clouds
  • grass and flowers
  • A house and trees

And lastly

  • the classic windmill

Step 1

I painted the upper half with sky blue color. I added white colour randomly too, but not too much. Because I wanted a bright sky and not a boring grey one.

Next I made clouds with white colour only. I didn't use grey as long as I remember, as this painting is weeks old.

Step 2

Next I painted the tree behind the house that we see in real life too. Trees that are so majestic, but it doesn't reveal its trunk.

I used green colour with a dot of black colour for the base just to make it a dark green tree.

On top of that, I tap it with light green colour along with little yellow and white colour here and there.

Step 3

I tried to draw a windmill, and I know it looks funny hanging in the sky, but what can we do? It is what it is.
Actually, I tried to copy and paste an image from Google on Canvas. But it can never be the same.

Windmill was to give this painting a classic look and to recall the time when it was a norm to get electrical energy from the kinetic energy of the wind, to pump water from the ground, and to grind seeds to get its oil.

At first I drew four blades only, but my mother pointed out that their distance from each other is not even.

I said, No worries, I'll draw two more then.

Step 4

I painted the house the same colour as the picture and the grass with a light green colour for the base, unlike the tree.

In the meanwhile, the windmill was ready except for its blades. I placed some rocks, kind of, on the base of it to make a partition from flower beds.

Step 5

The house was painted finally and roughly. Now it's time for the grass.
After painting the grass green, I took yellow and brown colour on a fan brush to make grass.

Until this point, it was perfectly giving vibes of a country house. I could have skipped flower beds, but I thought that I would make them perfect.

My mother liked my painting till this point.

But I was excited for flowers, so girlish.
I just tap different colours to make flowers like red, yellow, pink, violet, and orange on both sides.

Doesn't it look like a child painted this?

Because the only person who liked it first was a two-year-old baby boy who loves to play with my colours.

He doesn't like me much, and we share the mutual feelings.

Still, he liked it and grabbed it in his hands.

The rest of the family laughed or smiled because they had seen the Google picture I took inspiration from.

And after that, it's their right to laugh on the wall it has hung now. :)

No, it does not look like the picture of a child. Children paint differently. I do understand why a two-year-old likes it.

Btw you should use the hashtags the other way round. No one searches for steemexvlusive or your clubstatus. It's just an intern tag and moderators and curators should check themselves if it's important.

SCs should no longer care. Only about plagiarism and AI generated text.

Keep painting!

I'll shuffle my tags then.

Thank you kitty;)

Really? You know well about everything. Is it the vibrant colours that made him like it?

The vibrant colours do it for sure.

the word which came into my mind at first glance is ...cute yr...and to be honest I love the flowers part, then the rest of painting....windmill is okay, but the distance is still not even😉 ..I guess you should add two more wings........

He doesn't like me much, and we share the mutual feelings.....

fair enough 🤐....

And of course the library you painted is in this house ...and I guess the black beauty is the owner.

Waiting for what will be the next you bring on board
