A Promise Etched in Loyalty
A beautiful golden-eyed girl named Heer lived in a village in Punjab, hiding thousands of dreams in her eyes. She is pretty, innocent and soft like flowers. Her golden eyes testified that she was in love with Ranjha.
Ranjha used to captivate the hearts of people with his music and sweet sound of flute. One day, the tune of Ranjha's harp resonated in his thin and beautiful ears, which made the maiden crazy.
As the heartbeat was increasing, they took a vow of love that they would keep their vow despite all the social barriers. Then one fateful day arrived, fate chained love.
But now the time has come for these buds of love that were sprouting to bear fruit. As soon as he looked through the window in this prison-like room, he saw a cataract flower.
It was like a new ray of hope. At that moment, he decided that he would never give up. But nature had something else in mind. The story of both was incomplete, but their love lived forever.

Taken from Waris Shah - original Work - Heer Ranjha
Indeed - Our legendary Heroes, Heer Ranjha is a great fictional work of Waris Shah. Heer Ranjha is an important part of our culture. Waris Shah has very well combined the customs and traditions of Punjab with culture which we get to see in the form of Heer Ranjha.
In his literature, not only love is described with depth but also culture is described very beautifully. Let me salute to Waris Shah for this work how he kept his culture alive in his writings.
This is actually the fictional story of Heer Ranjha. You can read the text of Heer Ranjha by Waris Shah. It's time to invite my friends @arinaz08, @ahsansharif and @impersonal. Thanks mam @suboohi for organizing this contest.
