Merhaba Sevgili Steemit Türkiye Dostları;

Birkaç gün önce ziyaret ettiğim kitapçıdan izlenimlerimi sizlerle paylaşmak istiyorum. Mall of İstanbul alışveriş merkezinde bulunan D&R kitapçısına uğramıştım. Aslında kuzenelrimin işyerinde beklemekten sıkıldım, en azından sinemaya giderim biraz vakit geçirmiş olurum ve bir de izlemek istediğim film varsa bakayım diye gitmiştim. Fakat seans saatleri bana uygun gelmediği için kitpçıda dolaşıp dergi almak için gezindim.

Öncelikle dergi okumayı seven biriyim. İçerik olarak biraz edebiyat biraz da güncel konularda yazılan denemeleri okumak istedim. Tuhaf, Kafa, KafkaOkur ve Bavul dergileri bu dönemlerde takip ettiğim dergiler. Birkaç senedir dergi okuma alışkanığı edidim, eğer kitap okuyamıyorum yeni çıkanları takip edemiyorum gibi bir endişeniz var ise dergi okuyabilirsiniz. Üstelik günümüz televizyon, sinema, kamera arkası ve tiyatro dünyasında çok ilginç isimlerin ne kadar güzel denemeler yazdıklarını görebilirsiniz. Her zaman aldığım dergilerden farklı olarak bu sefer 'Masa' dergisinide aldım. Ülkemüizin başarılı kadınlarına yönelik bir sayı hazırlamışlar. Bir de 'Para' dergisi; NFT sistemini işlemiş. Son günlerde adını sık duyduğum NFT sistemini öğrenmek için bu dergiyi de aldım. Direkt olarak dergilerimi elime aldım ve kitapçıyı dolaşmaya başladım.

I would like to share with you my impressions of the bookstore I visited a few days ago. I stopped by the D&R bookstore in the Mall of Istanbul shopping center. Actually, I got tired of waiting at my cousins' workplace, at least I'd go to the cinema so I could spend some time and if there was a movie I wanted to watch, I went to see it. But since the session hours did not suit me, I wandered around the bookstore to buy magazines.

First of all, I am someone who likes to read magazines. In terms of content, I wanted to read some literature and some essays written on current issues. Strange, Kafa, KafkaOkur and Bavul magazines are the magazines I followed during these periods. I've been accustomed to reading magazines for a few years now, if you're worried that I can't read books, I can't follow new releases, you can read magazines. Moreover, in today's television, cinema, behind-the-scenes and theater world, you can see how wonderful essays are written by very interesting names. Unlike the magazines I always buy, this time I also bought the 'Masa' magazine. They prepared an issue for the successful women of our country. And a 'Money' magazine; He processed the NFT system. I bought this magazine to learn about the NFT system, which I have heard about recently. I immediately grabbed my magazines and began to wander around the bookstore.

Çünkü neredeyse sadece kırtasiye haline gelmiş ve sunduğu kitaplar ise tabiri caizse hükümet yayınevi gibi duruyordu. Bende bu olumsuz değişimden sonra diğer kitapçıya uğradım ve oraya bakmaya başladım.

Burada hemen hemen birçok alanda ve bu alanlarda yazılmış birçok yazarın kitabını bulabilirsiniz. Bu paylaşımdaki amacım size bu kitapçıyı övmek veya reklamını yapmak değil, tam tersine kitapçı dükkanı eleştirisi yapmak istedim.

Raflarda dizilmiş binlerce kitap var. Fakat size bir sorum var: Bu kadar kitabın yoğun olduğu bir yerde okumak isteyebileceğiniz bir kitabı rahatlıkla bulabilir misiniz? Size hitap eden o kadar çok kitap var ki, hangisinin tam anlamıyla size hitap edeceğini, veya baktığınız kitaplardan hangisini almak isteyebileceğinize karar vermek çok zor oluyor. Probably most of you have lost your way to a bookstore in any mall. All bookstores; wants to offer you all the books as much as possible. Of course, there are exceptions, booksellers who only want to offer their own books or who want to show a limited number of books they have agreed upon. For example, Human Book... I used to go to the Human Book branch in my taxi and like to shop there. But after a long time, I was quite surprised when I went to the Insan Book branch in the Mall of Istanbul shopping center. Because it became almost only stationery and the books it offered looked like a government publishing house, so to speak. After this negative change, I stopped by the other bookstore and started looking there.

Here you can find the books of many authors written in almost many fields and in these fields. My purpose in this post is not to praise or advertise this bookstore, on the contrary, I wanted to criticize the bookstore.

There are thousands of books lined up on the shelves. But I have a question for you: Can you easily find a book that you would like to read in a place where there are so many books? There are so many books that appeal to you that it is very difficult to decide which one will appeal to you exactly, or which of the books you are looking at you would like to buy. Many people are standing in front of the 'Best Sellers' section. The Bestseller list may give many people the impression that they are being read, but most of the books that remain in the background are more readable than bestsellers. Of course, these are subjective comments. In fact, in one of the photos—the one I mentioned below—an author rented a shelf for himself and filled it completely with his own book. There will probably be many buyers, but as I said, how can you make a healthy decision among such an intense choice?

Kitap seçimi konusunda bir başka zorluk ise şudur: Rafların en üst ve en alt kısımlarının, yeterince görüş alanında olmaması sebebiyle talebinin çok düşükte kalması. Hatta raflara yakın durup yukarı doğru baktığımda -ki bunun fotoğrafınıda çektim-, üst raftaki kitaplar benim boyumda olan biri için bile -1.81- oldukça zor farkedilir durumdaydı. Örneğin; bazı Avrupa ülkeleride bizim gibi panmdemi dönemini yaşadı ancak yüksek okuma oranı sebebiyle her evde bir kitaplık bulunur. Bu yüzden orada kitap satışlarıda yüksek seviyededir. Bu yüzden kitapçılar iki seçenek üzerinde duruyor; birincisi hemen her kitabı bulundurup herkese hitap edebilmek, ya da belirli bir yayınevi üzerine anlaşıp sadece onun kitaplarını satarak o kesime hitap etmek. That's why bookstores focus on two options; the first is to be able to have almost any book and appeal to everyone, or to reach that audience by agreeing on a certain publishing house and selling only its books. But now the third method is more preferred. This method is online sales.

Her posta kapıya geliyor. Posta kutularına bir şeylerin koyulması geleneği neredeyse bitti gibi. Çocukken ilkokullarda kullandığımız fasulyeler veya çubuklarda artık kullanılmıyor. The stationery and toys section, on the other hand, appeals almost entirely to children. Some games such as Puzzle are also preferred by adults. I used to dream; If I have a room of my own, I sometimes have such opportunities, but I haven't tried yet. Stationery reminds me of my childhood. In fact, once, my uncle took all the children in the big family and took us to the stationery store. We were going to enroll in a new school that year, it was a private college. We nine male cousins ​​bought our school shopping and clothes. It was a very busy and beautiful day. We used to bind our school notebooks and books. Binding was very common in the past. Now I don't see any kids doing that. You know, some behaviors, traditions and things that are used disappear... For example, mailboxes in apartments no longer function. Every mail arrives at your door. The tradition of putting things in mailboxes is almost over. It is no longer used in the beans or sticks we used in elementary schools as children. They were our tablets. We used to build our own game programs with those sticks and beans.

Mağazada dikkatimi çeken en önemli şey ise; bazı ürünlere takılan alarmlardı. Hani bir dönem haberlere çıktığında; bebek bezleri ve yağlara alarm takılıyor çalınmasın diye. You know, when it was on the news for a while; alarms are set on diapers and oils so that they are not stolen. But some people did not find this convincing and did not accept that people would tend to steal due to price increases. But the scene I saw in the bookstore proves this. I wonder how many times there were cases of theft in such a big shopping center and in this store with at least thirty cameras, and it was necessary to take security measures with such an alarm. Not only in quality technological products; Toys and even some DVDs have alarms included.

People who cannot buy diapers for their babies and take oil to their homes due to the current price increases are more likely to commit theft. Measures should be taken for these, but not only in terms of markets, but also within the purchasing power of people who cannot afford it. But there is no plausible explanation for playing toys or dvds due to price increases. Do not get it wrong; There is no positive side that can be explained in the previous situation, but there is a reason that can be explained. But stealing toys or DVDs from a store is pure theft.

Genel olarak izlenimlerim bu yöndeydi. Kitapların çok olması mı daha avantajlı yoksa isteyebileceğiniz bir kitapçı olma tarzı mı daha iyi? toplum olarak bir şeylerin birarada bulunduğu alışveriş merkezleri daha çok hoşumuza gider. Kimse de bundan uzun süre vazgeçebilecek değildir. Ancak her kitapçıya girdiğimde ve kitaplara bakma isteğimin olduğu zamanlar; ne kadar çok vakit harcayıp dolaşsamda çoğu zaman yoğun kitaplar arasında bir seçim yapamıyorum. In general, my impressions were in this direction. Is it more advantageous to have a lot of books, or is it better to be a bookstore that you want? As a society, we like shopping centers where things come together more. No one will be able to give up on this for long. However, every time I enter the bookstore and have a desire to look at the books; no matter how much time I spend wandering around, most of the time I can't choose between intense books. That's why I can't help my urge to visit the bookstore, which I knowingly eat, and every time I look at the bookstores close to where I am. But the second thing that surprised me the most was the book prices. Books of 120 - 150 pages were around fifty liras. I'm still not used to the prices in some cases.
