Steemit Engagement Challenge / SEC-S19 / W3 | "Money or Peace?"

in Hindwhale Community2 months ago

Sometimes when we are faced with such questions, we get confused on which to go for. Peace is very necessary to us, as well as money. Money is very important, and that is one thing people would say gives peace, but do you agree with that?

Are we all sacrificing peace to make money

"What shall it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul?"

Even when the word of God says so, people still sacrifice their peace for money. I know a man who was poor but peaceful with his family, but he felt he's not doing enough for his family and needed to do more but failed several times.

He got this option to make money after some rituals; he agreed to think about it for some time before taking his decisions. Well, since he has known their secret, they persuaded him until he gave in to doing it.

Well, he sacrificed his peace for money, but guess what? He never had peace after the money came. He was always restless at night. He hears sounds that no other person hears. It was all nonsense.

My sanity is important to me. I cannot sacrifice my peace for money. As much as I need money to fix things and take care of myself, I cannot give my peace for it.

Just as this platform has given me the opportunity to enjoy both peace and money without sacrificing any, that is a good way.

Which is wiser, to spend and earn or to spend after earning and saving?

I go for To spend after earning and saving. Normally, you can't spend what you don't have so you must have a hat to spend.

However, earning is the first step, followed by saving and then spending comes after. A wise man should know these and if you go for earn and spend before saving, what will you obviously save?

I usually set aside my savings once I receive my monthly salary. I know it's not always enough but I must remove at least 30% of whatever I make every month. It has been my style and it's working.

Spending money revolves in our daily lives and so we cannot avoid spending. I don't care what needs I have,I must save before spending.

Apart from money, what brings you peace and happiness?

Of course money does not give peace, peace comes even when you don't have money. Peace is not bought from the market, it is an inbuilt. Peace comes from within. It takes the Holy Spirit for one to have peace.

Just know that you can be happy but no peace, that are not the same thing. Money can buy happiness but can't buy peace.

I enjoy peace when I'm interacting with the Holy Spirit, studying the word or listening to my gospel songs.

I am naturally a peaceful person and so I don't fight so hard to get peace, I just let it flow even when I'm with my colleagues, I enjoy my peace, when I'm seeing movies or hanging out, I enjoy my peace.

Peace is free but only those with the right access to it can have it.

All your points hit the bull's eye. I agree that even when we toil hard to earn money we can have peace by getting involved in family activities. Here is a piece of suggestion, getting success in these contests depends on how you engage with other users. My best wishes.

Oh sure Sir. Your suggestion is well received. I appreciate your comments. Thank you so much!

@ukagod
Money and peace are two things that make a person realize that a person chooses one of these two things in his life. And man can buy everything with money, peace is not a cure for man's life
