In your story you told that John had written his plan in a diary, no successful criminal would do this. Initially you wrote that John's twin himself called. But I thought that the doctor did it. But in most such cases the doctor calls the wife or family. But at one place you have shown Emily's pain and anger very well. And it was nice to see John atoning in the end.
