"Pick a Word, Paint a Story #12"

Hello my steemian friends, and my friends of HIND WHALE COMMUNITY,

This is my participation in the contest “Choose the Word, Write the Story #12” organized by @senehasa in Hindwhale Community

My Topic is "FAITH"

It is said that this world is based on some belief. No one has seen that our earth is revolving in the solar system, but this is our belief. Similarly, there are many things which we feel are like this because it is our faith. Similarly, faith has a different role in life.

From the beginning of our life, we start feeling how important it is for us to have faith in each other. When we come into this world, we have full faith in our parents that they will take care of us, provide us with education, food, shelter and fulfill all our essential needs.

And our parents also have the same faith in us that when we become capable of fulfilling our needs ourselves and when we are physically disabled, we will take care of our parents, love them and respect them. I would like to listen to a short story based on this.

All parents tell us to believe in God since childhood.

The biggest thing is that none of us has seen God till date, but we still have full faith that God will protect us. I would like to narrate a short story based on this belief.

A woman worked in a food preservation factory. One day, when her work was over, and it was time for her to go home, she went into the freezer of the storage to inspect something, but unfortunately, the door closed and she was locked inside and no help was in sight. The temperature inside was very low below zero.

Although she screamed and knocked with all her might, her screams went unheard as no one could hear her voice. Most of the workers had already left, and it was impossible to hear from outside the cold room what was going on inside.

About five hours later, when she was on the verge of dying, the security guard of the factory suddenly opened the door. And the woman miraculously escaped death.

When she later asked the security guard why he came to open the door at that time, which was not his usual time, what he said was unexpected.

He said "I have been working in this factory for more than 29 years. Every day hundreds of workers come and go, but you are one of the few who say hello to me in the morning and say bye to me in the evening after work. Many people treat me as if I do not exist.

Today, like every day, when you came to work, you said 'hello' to me as per your nature. But today evening after work I was very surprised when I did not hear your "Goodbye, see you tomorrow" sentence.

So, I got very suspicious and decided to look around in the factory. because I use to wait for your 'Hi' and 'Bye' every day because you remind me that I am also somebody.

When I did not hear your goodbye today, I thought something has happened. So I was looking for you everywhere."

Actually, it was the faith of that lady in God due to which she greeted a simple watchman, and hence God came in the form of the watchman and helped her and protected her faith.
