The Diary Game: 20.09.2024 | My Holiday Activities

I arrived in our home village yesterday to attend my cousin sister's wedding ceremony. I have already noticed a similarity between town and village, which is the case of load shedding. Load shedding is currently occurring in both town and village, which is extremely disappointing. I couldn't escape from load shedding even in village. Because the rural areas are less developed, load shedding might occur frequently here. With frequent power outages and the intense heat, the weather has become unbearable, making the day even more challenging for me.

This morning, I stayed at home to avoid the extreme heat. At noon I took a shower before going to the mosque. Then I went to the mosque with my family, and we all said our prayers there. It was a wonderful feeling to walk to the mosque with my closest people this holiday and pray with them.

After the Friday prayer I came to my cousin's house. Shortly after, I prepared to go to my cousin's sister's house for the wedding feast program. I had a delicious meal at the bride's house. It was an important day in the life of my cousin sister. Because tonight she will get married and leave her home with the groom.

At night I visited the bride's house again to experience the last few moments of my cousin's wedding ceremony. The last moment of my cousin's wedding was quite emotional. Because I saw a woman crying as she was leaving the house with her husband. I am feeling this moment and trying to figure out why it is so emotional from a girl's perspective.
A few moments later I and my father visited my mother in law's house. I was shocked to see her. Because she was ill and lying on the floor. I didn't expect to visit her in such a worse health condition. A few months ago she was good but now she can not even move properly for her sickness. I was unable to recall the excitement of the wedding ceremony after having this moment.
I spent my holiday attending and experiencing the joyful and emotional parts of the wedding ceremony. However, after seeing my mother-in-law, my holiday became even worse. I pray that she will recover quickly by Allah's grace.
