Contest : Weekly Diary game|| I enjoyed my day with my grandson

Hello, good day, my dear friends. When I noticed @pathanapsana’s diary game contest, I wanted to participate in that. These days, I am very busy with my son's family members, so it is very difficult to find time to share a post. But, as it is her newly organized contest, I decided to participate in that. Here, I am sharing the day of February 6th, 2025.

These days, my son’s family has come to my house to stay with us for a week. My daughter-in-law is not very capable of looking after her baby, as she is still younger. When she was at her native home with her parents, her mother was the one who did it for her. So, when they come to my place, it is my duty to look after both my kids and her kids well, and it is my desire.

Her son is not sucking her nipple to breastfeed. Therefore, my daughter-in-law needs to pump them and give them through a bottle. Therefore, she has to focus on additional work such as pumping the milk and boiling the bottle, etc. The baby is also underweight; the doctor had instructed her to start thick meals at 4 months. Now, the baby is 4 and a half months old; therefore, she is giving the baby thick meals. Because of all these things, my daughter-in-law is very busy with her kid’s duties.

I made breakfast for them early morning, finished my housework, and then headed to start helping the baby and the mother. By the time I reached there, she was engaging her work quickly as the baby slept. Pumping milk from her breast normally takes more than 45 minutes. Therefore, she was quickly engaged in that duty, and in the meantime, I boiled the bottles. Most of the time, when I get a chance, I love to stay with baby.

Next, I helped her to clean her room. By that time, my son had started her office work in his office room, as he was working from home. In the meantime, the baby was crying, so I went to their bed to care for him. I was very happy to spend my day with our baby. Therefore, until my daughter-in-law had her breakfast and did her other work, I looked after the baby.

Then we bathed the baby and gave him a thick meal. As the baby went to sleep, I bathed my pet, Beenu. Then I headed to the kitchen to prepare our lunch. For lunch, I made rice and curry. As the baby was sleeping, my daughter-in-law also helped me in the kitchen. Before our baby was awake, I requested my daughter to look after her other work. Before the baby woke up, I arranged the dining table and asked her to eat her lunch.

My son also came down for lunch. He was also with us on his lunch break, watching the baby's cute work. I also took my lunch while my daughter was caring for her son. Then, I cleaned the dining table, as my husband also finished her lunch.

In the evening, one of our relatives came to visit us. Especially they came to visit our newly born grandson. With them, their granddaughter also came. She was very fond of playing with our grandson. As our granddaughter doesn't have any siblings, she was very happy to stay with our baby.

We ordered dinner for them from the outside. We all had our dinner together, and it gave us a great opportunity to boost our relationships. They were with us until midnight, as her granddaughter was very happy to stay with the baby. After they said goodbye to us, we all went to bed, grateful for giving us a pleasant day.
