Wardrobe Tales: A Peek Into Your Style

Introduction

I never thought a time will come when I will have to write about my outfit. This Steemit contest keeps getting better and better. Well, let me use this opportunity to save some of my favorite outfits here but before going ahead with this, let me invite @bossj23, @ochelebe and @lovelystar for the challenge.

A sneak peek into my clothes collection, will reveal to you that my outfits it’s divided into 3 categories. The one I wear at home, the one I wear to work or visit friends and the one I wear to church or special occasions.

At home

In the house, I wear more of T-shirts and three-quarter shorts, just to feel free. I am comfortable using it to do house chores and run errands. I also wear it T-shirts to work but it’s mostly during the weekend when there is less attention on dress codes. I prefer dressing casually, when I want to hang out at the bars to watch match or movies.

Work place

For my work outfit, i try to dress corporately to work but I don’t add tie because I don’t like it. I feel strangled whenever is on my neck and I am also happy my boss doesn’t really insist on his staff to put on ties. who knows, I would have gotten use to it by now. He only emphasized we dress corporate and look smart especially those of us at the working hall because we’re the first point of contact that meets the customers.

Church or occasion wears

This is where I have most of my best clothes. We call it senator’s design in Nigerian. The origin of this cloth traces back to our traditional attire. the Igbo’s call ”Isiagu” and the ijaws calls it ”jumper”. But because of how uncomfortable people feel in the material especially when the weather is very hot, a more suitable material and design was birthed.

It was first popularized by Nigerian senators and that was how the name came about. You feel very comfortable in it and can carve out many desirable designs out of it. I mostly wear it for events or church activities and I feel very good wearing it. The best part is that, all senator clothes here was made by yours truly, ME!!
