RE: Steemit Engagement Challenge / S16/W6 - "What happens if motor vehicles are banned around the world?
You make a great point. If we were to ban motor vehicles worldwide, it would definitely have a big impact on how we live and get around. On one hand, it could help reduce air pollution and traffic congestion, which would be good for the environment and our health. It might even encourage more people to walk, bike, or use public transportation, which could have additional benefits. Creating cities that are more pedestrian-friendly could make them safer and more enjoyable too.
But, on the other hand, such a ban would also come with challenges. It could lead to job losses and economic issues in countries that heavily rely on the auto industry. It might be harder for people in rural areas or those with mobility issues to access necessary services and opportunities. And let's not forget that adjusting to a life without vehicles would require significant lifestyle changes and additional expenses for alternative transportation.
