The Diary Game || 20/11/2023 || How I'd Spent My Day

Hello amazing steemians how are you all doing today I hope all is well and you all are having a nice and wonderful day today I will be sharing with you all how I spent my day and I hope you are willing to enjoy reading through it.

It was indeed a very beautiful day today waking up the sun was bright and the sky was clear and I don't know if you guys notice but a while back I'd did mention that some of the things I'm yet to achieve before this year runs out is fixing up and repairing my motorcycle 🏍️.

So today I'm so glad to say that I have finally made that long wish a reality though it wasn't easy because I'd really spent a lot of money today and at the same time I really stressed myself in the process.

So it all went down in the morning my brother @prime33 was around and since I had to open the shop 😔 I then told my brother to get prepared that he will be the one to assist me in the shop today though he wanted to say no with the excuse that he's going to be busy today, so I managed to convince him then he finally agreed to come and open the shop for me.

So as he was in the shop I then immediately use the opportunity to remove my motorcycle from the house, which has been inside for years now, the front tire was flat which makes it to be very heavy to push.

But I'd manage to take it out clean it a little then take it to the mechanic workshop I was all sweaty and exhausted because the flat tire really made it to be very heavy to push because it wouldn't start since it has been inside for years.

So after reaching the mechanic workshop I then called one of the mechanic his name is Sammy he's my friend, so he's the one that attended to my bike so after telling him all that I wanted him to do for me in the bike I then tell him that I will be right back, so I ran straight back to my shop to see my brother and ensure that everything was going smoothly.

So when I'd got they everything was fine but customers were becoming very many and he was the only one to attend to them and stake game for them so I told him to be very careful to avoid mistakes and shortage

So I went back to the mechanic workshop and as you can see in the above picture he had already started working on the bike because he knew that what I wanted to do on the bike was very many so he didn't wanted to waste much time.

And the list of what I wanted to do on my bike was changing of back wheel hub which cost, replacing the front wheel which was spokes to alloy wheel, replacing the exhaust with a new one, new mud card and finally engine work.

And as you can see in the above picture that is the list of the new things that I wanted to buy and all of it sum up together and cost 61800 naira equivalent to 332.92 steem, but workmanship money and engine work money excluded.

So after the mechanic might have finished loosing some part we then went together to buy all the new things I wanted to buy, and as you can see in the above picture those are some of the old spare parts that have been replaced in my bike which includes the front wheel, exhaust, mud card, back wheel hub.

After that before I knew it the time was already 2:30pm and yet still we haven't even started because after replacing the part with new ones we then proceeded to the engine work and the mechanic brought everything down (whole engine)

And after the mechanic went through the engine part one after the other he told me that in other to make this engine to br sound for me I would have to change the engine rings, new crank shaft and rug arms for nice sound and for the engine part it cost me a total of 9950 naira which is equivalent to 53.60 steem.

So now in the process of fixing up my bike engine I was they standing and supervising the work because most mechanic weather there are you friends or not when you buy a new thing to put in your vehicle they usually hide that one that is new and them take out their own from their tool box to replace it for you for the purpose of selling the new one you bought to someone else.

So I was they supervising the whole work making sure that he doesn't try anything funny and also when some parts requires a welders attention I will be the one to take the part to the welder to amend it

And after that before I'd realized it the time was 5:20pm but luckily everything was about to be finished as Sammy had finished with the engine replace the key and put a new one and then put oil into the engine and kick start it and trust me when I say this that it sounded like a new bike and I was very happy

So I took the bike straight home and as you can see in the above picture I'd washed it thoroughly because it was very dirty especially coming out from the mechanic workshop

Then after washing the bike I then took it drive carefully to the shop to check on my brother normally he was doing alright so he asked me if everything had been finished so I'd said yes

Then he stood up then I entered and continue from were he stop though before continuing I had to count and balance his account only to find out that he had a shortage of 5000 naira equivalent to 26.93 steem, but at that point I knew that they was nothing I could do because I couldn't ask him to pay me the money so I'd just pretended like nothing happened and forgot about it

So still at the shop when it was time for me to close I'd later realize that I haven't eaten since morning because since I was very busy repairing my bike all day I couldn't even remember to eat, then at that point I started laughing within myself self saying silently "To be a man is not a day job"
