Hi all the amazing and wonderful people of hindwhale community.

I specially welcome you to my blog today, this is @owulama a Nigerian. I hope you all are doing well and are enjoying your happy lives. I am doing well too.

Joy

From the three words we have been provided with,, I have chosen Joy and I will be writing an article on it.

Joy is very paramount and it is a fundamental element for a happy living. It has the power to change our lives totally... It is that feeling of immense excitement that comes from the deepest part of a person's soul. Joy has that unique sense of satisfaction that can transform a person's live in every perspective.

Our world today is full with so many ups and downs, hustling, and people are working so hard to earn little or much for survival they often neglect the importance of joy. A lot of people today are faced with countless challenges that they forget to prioritize Joy which enhances a happy life.

The benefit of joy in our lives cannot be overemphasized, Joy has numerous benefits but challenges has made us forget about those benefits. Joy has alot of impacts on both our physical, emotional, psychological and mental well-being.

A joyful person can handle difficult situations with ease, the productivity and creativity of a joyful person can be improved, joy ease us of the numerous kind of stress we might be going through, it lift our mood, our immune system can boost and function better when we are joyful. This and many more are the benefits that comes with being joyful.

There are little things we can do which can bring us joy,, some of these things that serves as our source of joy are; engaging in activities that we so much love and find pleasure in, be contented and appreciative for all that we have, spending quality time with loved ones, attaining and achieving our set goals, spending some of our time with nature is also a powerful source of joy.

We need to cultivate the habit of staying joyful because no amount of thought will be able to solve our problems, rather, overthinking will only add to the stress and problems we already have.

Some of the ways we can cultivate the habit of being joyful in order not to be depressed are; worry less about the past and stay focused, thankful and enjoy the present moment, always engage in activities that brings you joy, appreciate your achievements no matter how small it looks, take good care of yourself by prioritizing self care, eat balance diet and live healthy, engage in regular exercise etc.

Lastly,,, always have it in mind that Joy is not a feeling that just comes, it must be cultivated. You have the power to choose between staying joyful and being unhappy, so you better make that decision right!
Staying joyful enhances more purposeful, meaningful and a fulfilled life. Always stay joyful no matter what!!!

Joy originates from within our hearts and cannot be bought with money. Live in the moment and be joyful; don't worry about the future or the past. Living in the present moment will naturally promote joy.
