Education is as important as life. This is a part of life that everyone on earth cannot graduate from.

As far as there is life, all of us continue to learn and get educated depending on whom we are, what we are and what we are presently pursuing.

Children are not left out in this too. Education is very important for their development. We want to find out which play a major role in the development of a child. Is it studying or playing?

This is.what this engagement contest topic is all about. The topic is Which is very important for children's brain development: Studying or Playing?

What is more important for children in their childhood, playing or studying?

Answering this question is a dicey one. Why I said so is because, both are major forces for a child's growth and brain development.
It is very difficult for me to give a yes or no answer to this question. Rather I would say that both are of equal importance in a child's growth and development. Studying is an important part of a child's brain development, helping the child to be able to develop and learn certain things he may not be taught at home while playing helps to teach the child certain skills naturally, developing his talent or identifying his individual abilities while doing so.

Are today's children lagging behind in studies and sports? If yes, explain the reason.

Yes, Children are lagging behind in studies and sports. I still remember during my school days. We have qualified men and women teachers and not children's who just left Secondary school and are looking for a job to do. Since they are not taught and trained as teachers, I am just wondering what they can impact on school children.

Moreover, emphasis is now on money more than studying. Education is more of a business than a source of impacting knowledge. What many are interested in is how they can make more money from the business they have invested in.

Parents too are not helping matters. They are more interested in passing exams than acquiring knowledge. That tells a lot on the standard of education in a place.

Many so called schools have no space for sporting activities. Back then, the government organizes sporting competitions for schools to participate in, cutting across several fields, tracks and indoor games.

So generally, both areas are really lacking in schools and these are affecting the children too.

Is online education useful to your children?

Well in my country, online education is not well known. This may be due to the resources used to do that, which most people cannot afford. It came to people's attention during the Covid-19 lockdown, after then, school resumes and the rest about it is history.

My children rarely use it, unless occasionally when the need arises. But when given certain school assignments that requires learning online, they do so and it is usually very helpful to them

How does online education effect your children's mental and physical health?

Online education can have both a positive and negative effect on children.

On the positive side, online education can ensure flexibility, accessibility and offers a wide range of choice when it comes to selection of courses. To some people and some places it makes education affordable and convenient. However, while engaging in this, there is need for the child to learn the art of self discipline in order to benefit from it.

On the negative side, when the child is not self disciplined, he can really miss out a lot online. Additionally, the child will definitely lack in social interaction skills which is very important for easy cohabitation with people. The child may not also be motivated since there is no one to compare himself to. He or she could have some technical problems during study which may affect the lessons being taken and other things that may cause possible diversion during study time.

Conclusion

It is up to parents to decide on what form of education to be used. Whether it will be online or offline. In any situation, they should consider the pros and cons of doing so.

Education is important as well as playing. After all there's is this maxim, all work without play makes jack a dull boy. But the most important thing is to place a balance in all that we do. Another about online education, like you said is that it is not widely practice in our country, probably because of lack of funds. Thank you so much for your nice post. All the best.

I think, not by giving the kids to play alone in the house. Take the kids to play in the playground or a park next to your home. Give the opportunity to play with the boys. It will be able to learn a technique of good and bad by playing with your child friends. Schooling in school is very important. We receive 60% of education from school. And 40% of education gets from the child to different places and from nature. So traveling and sports are very important in addition to children's education. Thank you so much for posting so beautiful.

Greeting sister your article analysis on the importance of both studying and playing in a child's development is well-considered. The challenges you highlighted in today's education system including the focus on monetary gains and the lack of emphasis on sports and physical activities shed light on significant issues. Your perspective on online education, noting its potential benefits and drawbacks provides a balanced view. The emphasis on parental responsibility in choosing the form of education is a crucial takeaway. Well-articulated ..
