A Shining Star in Darkness || The Heartbreaking Struggle to Save Junaid Khan

The eighteen year old son Junaid Khan has always been the family pride. Throughout his academic career he was the best student in his class and showed outstanding intelligence. His future is bright and full of achievement. That promising future though appears to be disappearing right now. Junaid was admitted to the hospital bedridden due to a severe disease called aplastic anemia which was discovered four months ago.

With every day that goes by their once active kid becomes weaker and weaker and his parents have been by his side helplessly watching. Because of his condition Junaid needs to receive treatment immediately but it would cost 35 lakhs which his family cannot afford. Junaid parents have knocked on every door they could locate in an attempt to save their kid. They have made requests to the chief ministers of Punjab and KPK as well as to a number of other organizations. But no help has arrived despite all of their efforts. Days pass and Junaid illness is still untreated.

He must deal with painful blood transfusions every week and his body is begging for the medicine that could save his life. His parents are in severe pain. They are unable to watch their shining star their son go through this kind of sorrow. Junaid mother has taken the tragic decision to sell her kidney in order to rescue her son out of hopelessness. She has contacted prospective buyers in the hopes that someone will step forward but she has not received a response as of yet. Junaid body is lying in his hospital bed. Though his body is weak Junaid mind is still sharp as he lies on his hospital bed.

He is aware of the difficulties his parents face and the extent to which they will go in order to save him. The sacrifice made by his mother pains him deeply. His only goals are to recover go back to his studies and win his parents approval. However anxiety and uncertainty now cloud over the once seeming safe future. The day that treatment is not received brings Junaid one step closer to death. His parents are nearing the end of their time and their hope. They will stop at nothing to save their son because of their infinite love for him.On the other hand seems like their requests for help are unanswered and their son is still stuck in a fight for his life.
