The Diary Game 28-10-2024: Enjoying Fried Shrimp Noodles

Today I woke up earlier than usual and immediately felt like preparing breakfast at home. As soon as I got out of bed, I went straight to the kitchen and started thinking about what menu would be suitable for this morning. After looking at the ingredients, I finally decided to make simple fried rice with an omelette.

I turned on the stove, put a little oil in the pan, and started to sauté the garlic and shallots that I had finely sliced. A fragrant aroma began to fill the kitchen, making the morning feel warm and pleasant. After the spices started to brown, I added the white rice that I had prepared, then stirred it slowly while adding a little salt and sweet soy sauce to make it taste better.

While waiting for the fried rice to cook, I also cracked an egg, seasoned it with a little salt, and made a thin omelette in the next pan. Not long after, my breakfast was ready to be served! I arranged it on a plate, adding sliced ​​tomatoes and cucumbers as a complement. This simple breakfast felt special because I cooked it myself. After it was finished, I enjoyed it happily at the dining table.

Today started with good energy, and hopefully the rest will go smoothly!

Tonight, I felt like making something special for dinner, so I decided to make fried shrimp noodles at home. After preparing all the ingredients, such as noodles, fresh shrimp, garlic, chilies, and vegetables, I got to work in the kitchen.

I boiled the noodles for a while and drained them, then I continued by sautéing the garlic and chilies until they smelled good. When the garlic was brown, I added the cleaned shrimps, and sautéed them until they turned pink—the aroma immediately made my stomach even hungrier!

After that, I added the boiled noodles, then mixed them with oyster sauce, sweet soy sauce, and a little salt and pepper to add flavor. Lastly, I added some vegetables such as thinly sliced ​​mustard greens and carrots to add freshness and color to the dish. I mixed all the ingredients well until the noodles and shrimp were completely cooked.

Once cooked, I immediately served it on a plate and added a little sprinkle of fried onions on top. It tasted savory and delicious, the perfect combination of chewy noodles, soft shrimp, and seasoning that had seeped in. This dinner was special, and I really enjoyed every bite!
