The breathtaking vastness of the river spread under the blue horizon. Silently following water was looking around with its halting breaths but found no one around except me and the intense silence. Why I was there? To get rid of suffocation which spreads in the crowds.
River is one of the marvellous listeners with the best empathetic skills. River banks, The laps where humanity flourished and settled. The magnificent civilizations were born on River verges, and then the flowing waters took them back into their calm wombs like a possessive mother. The glorious riverine provides a fertile land to nurture love stories. Yes, I love the miraculous amor sprout on riversides.
The one which emerged from the pen of Mustansar Hussain Tarer. Mustansar Hussain، who wrote "Pyar ka pahla Shar"( The First City of Love). But the write-up, which is the face of his bounding way of writing, is Bhao (loosely you can say "the flow," and an official English translation is available with the title of The Lost River). That very novel is not a typical love story but mirrors a bond between sapiens and the rivers.
The affection among the folks who were born, raised, and dead on the water's edge in Thar (desert) and the only river in their lives is described in a way which you can connect. The innocent (or somehow foolish) characters of Mustansar Hussain know that the dear river of Srasvati is going to evaporate soon, not only from their lives but also from the land. And still, they don't believe in naked reality. Like us, when a loved one is going to migrate from our lives.
We just close our eyes and say to ourselves that they never will, or maybe we perceive their intentions in the wrong way. However, deep down, we know that they will do whatever they want to do. We can't make them stay as can't control the river's flow. The water which passed once never flowed again. The characters who once went out from the stage of this world never came back. Of course, they are not affected by the intense desires which we have.
The land may have survived without rivers, but it lost the hustle which kept it alive. Perhaps the same thing happened with humans, who survived, but the part which they lost due to oblivion of their near and dears can never join them again. Water flows, and so does life. I don't know if it is for good or bad. But that is the rule or our fate decided by the ultimate circumstances. So we go with the flow because if we stop and wait, the river will ruin whatever comes its way.

I always like your style of expression, I had not heard of "Pyar Ka Shaher" and I did not like romantic novels a little. That is why my interest remained on fast-paced crime, stunt, detective and science fiction.

I just read a single crime thriller, i.e. God Father. And I confess that was really intriguing. The first murder committed by Don Vito, the murder of his firstborn, and the preparation of his casket are literally incredible. But the beheading of a horse to get a role (I think )for Jony Fountain was, above all. Well, I can't bear the sight of blood. That's why I avoid such things, but I think action is more worthy to watch rather than to read.

I have also read Godfather and have seen a Hindi film based on that story "Dharmatma". It is the story of the supremacy of an empire and the battle for its legacy.
And I just make a simple effort to write something good in my short stories. It is up to the readers whether they like it or not.

By the way, i have read niklay teri talash m of mustanser tarar. It was ammmm good, my brother brought it from the school library, and at that time i used to read any urdu book we have hard copy of.
Isn't it wholesome to read what we have near us instead of constantly looking for new books just for the sake of collecting them.

میرے خیال سے آپکی لکھاوٹ ہر پہلو سے کار آمد ہے ۔اور یوں سمجھیں کچھ بھی ادھورا نہیں چھوڑا ۔
آپ آخر پر ذندگی کو بہاؤ سے ملاتی ہیں ایک شعر مرزا اسد اللہ خاں غالب کا دیکھیے جس میں وہ دنیا کو بچوں کا کھیل کہتے ہیں ۔اور اس میں اتہار چڑھاؤ اسکی خوبصورتی میں اضافہ ہے ۔
بازیچہ اطفال ہے دنیا میں مرے آگے
ہوتا ہے شب و روز تماشا مرے آگے
یہ تماشا دراصل ہمیں خیرو شر کی آگاہی دیتا ہے ۔
دوسرے پہلو سے اگر ایک لکھاری کیطرح آپ پر چھوڑوں کہ خدا نے ہمیں اختیارات بخش کر کچھ چیزوں میں ادھورا رکھا ہے ۔تاکہ ہم اسکی جستجو میں اٹھے ،گرے اور کچھ حاصل کریں۔
اب بات کرتے ہیں ۔
میرے خیال سے ایک لکھاری کی حیثیت سے میں سمجھتا ہوں ہر چیزیں آپ سے محوِ گفتگو ہے ۔اگر آپ اسے وقت دیں ۔
اور پیڑ دیکھ لیں آپکو سنیں گے ۔
دشت دیکھ لیں آپ سے بات کریں گے مگر بات تب ہے جب ان میں کھو جائیں اور ایک شاعر کیطرح بولنا جانتے ہو سب سے بڑھ کر ان کی کیفیات کو محسوس کرنا جانتے ہو ۔
اور ہر لمحہ آگے بڑھنے والے موضوع پر آپ الکمیسٹ ناؤل کے کردار سینٹیاگو کو دیکھ لیں ۔
اسکی ایک اچھی بات کہ وہ خواب ہی کیا جو پورا ہو جائے ! ۔اور پھر وہ ہی کہتا ہے خواب ذندہ رہنے کا مقصد ہیں ۔مطلب وہ یہ کہنا چاہتا ہے کہ ایک زندگی خوابوں سے جڑ کر ایک امید کی ڈور میں ڈوبی ہے ۔
اسکے علاؤہ انگلش لیٹریچر میں ایک کہانی جو کہ میں بہت پہلے پڑھ چکا ہوں "مووینگ فنگر " جس میں وہ ایک پورٹریٹ ایک عورت کی تصویر کیساتھ ذندگی بسر کرنے لگ پڑتا ہے ۔جو کہ میرے خیال سے دیکھا جائے تو سمجھانا چاہ رہا ہے کہ چیزوں کا جاندار یا بےجان ہونا ضروری نہیں آپ انکے رکنے یا چلے جانے سے ان سے دور نہیں ہوتے بس یہ آپ پر منحصر ہے آپکی ذندہ دلی اور اہمیت اور احساسات پر مبنی ہیں ۔
باقی آپ بجا فرماتی ہیں وہ زمین خشک ہو جاتی ہیں جہاں پانی نہ پہنچے ۔
ایک کمنٹ میں آپ دو کتابوں اور ایک شاعر کا حوالہ دیں گے تو مجھے پسند تو آئے گا نا۔۔۔۔ بلاشبہ یہ کائنات ہم سے محو گفتگو ہے بات تو بس سمجھنے کی ہے کیونکہ خالق اکبر کہتا ہے ۔۔اس میں عقل والوں کے لیے نشانیاں ہیں۔ اور ہاں انسان بہت پیچیدہ مخلوق ہے محبت کرنے پہ آئے تو ایک تصویر کے سہارے زندگی گزار لے ۔ نہ کرنی ہو اطاعت تو بہتر حوروں کا لالچ بھی کچھ نہیں بگاڑ سکتا
