Today, I left home at 9.00 am to go to the office as usual. After coming to the office, I have breakfast. Today I have some important electrical work scheduled in advance. I am an electrical engineer. For the past two days, I have completed a chemical earthing. Today, I will test chemical earthing with an earth meter. Knowing the earthing test is very important for an electrical engineer. Everyone can learn how to do the earthing test by reading my diary game today. I started the earthing test with my electrical team.

Making earthing cable connection

The earth meter has four ends. I first connect the E1 and P1 ends of the earth meter with cables. Then, I connect a cable to the E1 end from the earthing rod. Then, I connect two more wires to the E2 and P2 ends, which will be the two groundings. My earth meter connection is complete. Then, I power on the earth meter.

Earth test results are good

The earth meter can measure between 10 and 1000 ohms. I would earth test within 10 ohms. In the industrial sector, earthing value below 1 ohm is good. I click the test button with the selector switch of the earthing meter at 10 ohms. Within some time, I get the desired results. I got an earth value of 0.40 ohm, which is very good. Our efforts of the last two days have been successful. I now recommend connecting the earthing cable to the rod-bending machine. My electrical team connects cable earth electrodes to the UTM machine. Then, I set off with my electrical team to do the second important electrical job of the day. One of our 9MVA transformers is leaking oil. Since it is a very big transformer, we started oil extraction in big transformer drums. Then, we started repairing the point where the oil escaped from the transformer. I worked for about three hours. I supervise the entire work with responsibility.

An engineer from a transformer company supervises the work with me. The transformer was purchased from the Indian company Electrotherm. Today, the production of the transformer is stopped for maintenance work. We all try to complete the work quickly together. At noon, the guest engineer and I went to have a meal. After lunch, we focused again on work. At 3:00 p.m., we completed the work of the transformer and started the electrical connection.

Then, I performed some important duties during the transformer's work. Today's transformer maintenance work is very risky. If the transformer oil has dirt in it, it will become dangerous. Then, at 4:00 p.m., I supplied power to the generating unit. It was the evening before the entire work was completed and the production started.
