The diary game || Visit Ooty to attend family function.

Hi friends,

Yesterday, my brother-in-law's daughter's baby was named after her, and we had received an invitation for the naming ceremony. Their home is in Ooty, a famous hill station in South India. It is our hometown and my birthplace. We had moved here for work, so it was a very special and beloved thing for us to visit our hometown. We got up early in the morning to attend the event. The naming ceremony was scheduled for 12 noon, so we left home at around 7 am. Because it took about three and a half hours to reach Ooty from our home.

My husband drove the car. After about an hour of driving, the mountain road journey began. The entire mountain road journey went through the forest, so it was very beautiful to see the forests on both sides of the road. We sat in the car and took pictures. We also stopped the car at various places to take selfies and photos. The mountains, forests, clouds on the mountains, tall trees, green tea gardens etc. were very beautiful to see. They reminded me a lot of my childhood.

We could see many types of birds and animals on both sides of the forest, especially monkeys. We reached Coonoor at around nine o'clock. We stopped in front of the military training center there and took a photo. Because my daughter dreams of becoming an officer in the army, we stopped there and took a photo.

Thus we reached Ooty. Since my brother-in-law's house is near Lovett, we did not go to Ooty city and took a shortcut through the forests to his house. We took photos of the forests, valleys and trees there. I took photos between the trees as if I were standing in the forest.

Poojas, aartis and bhajans were performed in the temple and the baby was named NEHANTH. After naming the baby, we all put honey in the baby's mouth and chanted his name in his ear. After that, we came home, stood in front of the decoration specially made for the occasion at home and took a photograph of each and every one of us. His name was written inside that decoration.

I kept telling my children how we lived here. By the time we reached Ooty, it was 11 o'clock. Everyone welcomed us at my brother-in-law's house. We also gave them the gifts and snacks that we had bought for them and shared our love.

Then after their guest and all our relatives arrived, we all went together to a famous temple in the same town. According to our custom, naming a child is a ritual that takes place in the temple. So everyone went to the temple. Since the ceremony was said to be held in the temple, I wore a protective saree on the last day. Everyone liked that saree.

That temple was a very beautiful temple on the top of the mountain, and when we went, maintenance work was going on in the temple. Vechiles can move certain limit and the we have to walk through steps. So we parkes our cars in the foot hills of the temple and started walking by the steps path. There was a huge 25 feet tall statue of Lord Murugan in that temple. It was covered for painting, but I took a picture of it.

After everyone took pictures, everyone was given a feast. Everyone had a feast and congratulated the baby and then we left from there. By then, it was getting late. We left from there at 6:00 pm. Everyone was tired because we were busy all day. Even though the baby was sleeping and I was also sleepy, I kept talking to him thinking that my husband should not fall asleep. With us, our second brother in law and his wife came in a car, we dropped them at their place and then went to our house. By the time we reached home, it was already ten o'clock.

Thus, our program yesterday was very busy and enjoyable. I am very proud to share it with you. I hope you liked it too.

First of all, congratulation to your brother-in-law as you to have such great and wonderful moments in your life. By the I it's not a common name in North India but Sounds similar with some last word change but it seems blesse to get that name of "NEHANTH". Inspite of these all ceremonies, i have got to know that your daughter wants to be officer in army, and I liked it the most. Congratulations again from me mam.

By the way, I want some suggestion that I have here after 2 years and start to work again on profile to improve it again. Lemme some inputs so that start with from here and I am waiting for your reply.
Thank you so much.
