SEC20/WK6: Graphic Design Hands - On practical 3

Step 1:

First, open the Canva website and click on the Create Design button

Step 2:

Now select the custom size option. Then select an 8 x 6-inch drawing area, and then Goto color palette on the top and choose a black color or use hash code to choose a custom color

Step 3:

Now click the elements tool on the left side of the page and type "party" , you can see numerous party elements as graphics, photos or backgrounds

Step 4:

Choose some party elements to insert in your designs such as balloons, hangers, glitters, stars etc

Step 5:

Use the flip option to change the element's position also use the rotate option to move its angle.

Step 6:

Place the elements in appropriate locations in the design area and leave place to text and image.

Step 7:

Type your text using the text tool and change its size and font , here I used the "Impact" font

Step 8:

Emphasize the word you want to show by changing its color and differentiating its size

Step 9:

Search "Happy Woman" from the elements and insert any appropriate woman image that suits your design. Also insert the Steemit logo if available, or upload the Steemit logo using the upload tool

Step 10:

Once re-arrange the elements properly, and save the design, the download the file as jpeg or png image.
