|| The Diary Game || Date 25/11/2023 || Attending a wedding ceremony.

Hi friends.
Today again I am going to participate in the contest: https://steemit.com/hive-179660/@dove11/contest-the-diary-of-the-day-contest-the-diary-game organised by @dove11 in our community, and I hope this will be an interesting diary post.

Yesterday morning, I woke up at around six o'clock. After waking up, I did breathing exercises for a while, cleaned the house after exercise, and sat on the sofa for a while to relax. Then I watched the morning news on television. It is raining heavily in Tamil Nadu, and I have come to know that many areas have been damaged due to floods in Nilgiris district. At the same time, I drank the tea that my husband had made for me. After drinking it I rested for a while and went to the bathroom to take a bath.

After the shower, I went to the kitchen and cooked breakfast, and by then, my son and daughter were ready in school uniform. My husband was leaving for the office. However, we had breakfast, then I packed lunch for my son and daughter in their lunch boxes, sent my daughter to school on my bicycle, then took my son to school on my scooter and left.

In the afternoon, after cooking lunch, I went to school and fetched my son, and then we all had lunch. After drinking, we got ready to go to the wedding, as one of our relatives had a wedding invitation. Around 4 o'clock, my husband's brother and his wife joined us to go to the wedding. Along with them and my family, we also left in the car

The wedding hall was about 20 kilometers away from our house. We drove for about an hour and reached the wedding hall. Although it was raining and there was heavy traffic, it took a little longer to reach, and the hall was beautifully decorated. The wedding reception was held according to Tamil tradition.

First, we went to the reception and greeted the bride and groom on stage. Then all the guests who had come there were in the queue, and we also stood in the queue along with them. Then, when it was our turn, we went there and congratulated the bride and groom and took photos. The stage was beautifully decorated. The bride and groom were beautiful too.

Some cultural programs were also taking place in the wedding hall. At the same time, a disco stage has been set up for children to dance on. Children were dancing on the stage to the music. It was very interesting and fun to watch. After watching all those performances, we went to the dining hall to have our meal. There are many types of food served buffet-style. We all went and had food there. The food was very tasty and varied.

A lot of people were invited for this wedding ceremony and hence, the hall was crowded. We could see our relatives and friends there. I was very happy to meet them, I met many people and inquired about their well-being. Then I took selfies here and there. After that we spent some time there and then we all left for home.

After coming home, I sat down at my computer and finished my yesterday's task on Steemit. I sorted some posts as I needed to verify them. Then I looked at the comments on my posts and replied to them. Then I went to sleep. Thus my yesterday was spent well and I thank God for giving me this good day.
