Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.
Today, after offering the morning prayers in the mosque in community with other people of the society, I returned home to go for a second spell of sleep till it was 7:30 AM in the morning. I then set off for a walk towards the serene hill side of the village to breathe in some fresh air and lift up my spirit by shedding off all the negative thoughts and depressions from my mind and to boost my physical health I did some jogging while I was on way back to home. As it was Friday today and I had to prepare myself for the congregational Prayers like cutting my nails, taking a shower etc i was done with all the obligations before I had my breakfast together with my parents after which I got ready for office and left towards the village I have been deputed to accomplish my official tasks.
While doing my official work, I was required to get a statement of the own resource account of the village from the bank for which I had to travel to another village as the bank is centrally located there. I had to forward the data required for the audit purposes by the rural development department, and I couldn’t delay the assignment. On return. I submitted a half day leave before my boss and then after I finished my lunch I returned home.
I left towards the mosque at 1:30 PM to offer the congregational prayers that are scheduled at 1:45 PM in the grand mosque of our village. It’s quite important for all the Muslims to offer congregational prayers as these can’t be offered in solo. All the people of the village can be met on this day, and it usually becomes obvious to meet friends and relatives outside the mosque after finishing the prayers. Some schools of thought support the fact that these prayers are intended to provide people with the opportunity to meet their friends and other relatives at least once in a week. Friday Congregational prayers not only help people to make supplications together before the Lord, but also help them to know more about their own religion and other religions as well through the sermons.
Today I was a little quick to reach home after the prayers because we had to leave for a cricket match that was to be played in a very evergreen environment. The ground is not conducive for cricket because of the pine trees present all around the turf, but we being the residents of an area, lack the facility of a cricket ground and had to be contended with what we have on offer. We spent some good enough time waiting for the opposition team to come, and we were put to field first and were given a target of 187 runs in just 18 hours. We couldn’t bowl them out and were able to take only four of their wickets. While chasing the target, we couldn’t set the pace to achieve the target right from the beginning, and with every passing delivery, our run rate was mounting and eventually it reached up to 20 runs per over, which was quite a uphill task as we had lost more than half of our side. At last, we lost the match by about 40 runs after which I got my friends together to get back into the car and leave for home.
We reached home at 7:30 PM and on arrival I first offered the evening prayers before I left for my friend’s shop to have some fruits and other stuff that was required in the kitchen. I returned home at 8:45 PM and then I took some time to have a glance on my History book and then when I was called by my mother for the dinner, I couldn’t hold myself on the study table and accompanied my parents on the table. Again, I read a few more pages of the Indian mediaeval history till I felt sleepy and now as I am under my quilt I am writing this diary to make an account of my day.
