The Diary game. Bid adieu to our boss who was a gem of a person.

Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.

The temperature has now improved in the valley, and the vibe of spring has engulfed the entire region. People are anticipating a beautiful season ahead. Winter has passed, taking its hardships with it, and we have successfully endured those tough times. We are once again thankful to the Almighty, who has blessed us and given us another opportunity to witness the beauty of spring in the valley.

To make the most of my time, I wake up early in the morning—not only to start my day with prayers but also because it helps me feel more productive. It makes my day seem longer and provides me with enough time to accomplish my tasks.

Today, I got up early again, and after performing ablution with cold water, I went to the mosque for the morning prayer. The mosque is just a few meters from my house. Upon reaching, I realized I was a little late, so I hurried to join the congregational prayer.

After finishing the prayers, I made supplications and then headed back home with a sense of peace and serenity in both my heart and mind. The morning prayer is a wonderful way to begin the day, as it instills a sense of calm, positivity, and a desire to do good for others. It also fills me with humility and a deep sense of gratitude.

Today was a special day at the office, as we had to bid farewell to our former boss, who had been transferred to a different district with immediate effect as per the order. Due to the sudden transfer, we couldn’t formally say goodbye at the time, so we decided to arrange a farewell party almost a month later.

For this reason, we booked a restaurant in Chadoora, a nearby town, and yesterday was chosen as the date for the farewell. Early in the morning, I set off to the office, as we needed to ensure that all the arrangements were properly made to make the event a memorable one. I spent half of my day at the office completing my necessary tasks, and when our former boss arrived, we all left together for Chadoora, where we gathered to enjoy Kashmiri cuisine, Wazwan.

It was a wonderful time spent together, as we shared a strong bond with our former boss. She was soft-spoken and always considerate of the concerns of her team members. It was truly a pleasure to be part of her team, and now that she has moved on, we will certainly remember her as one of the best leaders we’ve had so far.

Today was yet another wonderful time together, filled with lighthearted moments. We also presented her with a memento as a token of our appreciation. It felt great to be there with someone who had guided me through various challenges while being part of the Rural Development Department.

Life is too short to be weighed down by negativity, and we must always cherish the moments spent with good people. We should never forget those who have positively impacted our lives.
