Today I am here to take part in this contest to put my waves forward regarding imagining life without electricity. I would like to express my ideas in best possible way to make it more attractive for my readers. I hope I would be able to garner your upvotes.

How would your daily life and work life be without electricity from now onwards?

At the first place, I haven’t imagined life without electricity in this modern world as electricity has revolutionised our lives in every aspect and has become one of the most significant resources that even imagining life without it has become difficult. Life without electricity in this modern era would ridiculously reshape our daily lives and work routines, compelling an adaptation to more simple and primitive life. It’s not only our personal lives that would get transformed, but our professional lives would also get changed drastically.

We have been reading about the primitive life right from the childhood and maybe without electricity our lives would get transformed to a similar form. Electricity has not only made things easy, but quicker also, and now if there would be no electricity all of a sudden, we would be required to adapt the same older methods which would not only consume more resources, but a lot of our time as well. The automatic methods of doing tasks would change to manual methods, for example, our household chores like cooking, washing,cleaning would require manual methods, and consequently, would take more time in doing the same tasks, leaving people with no time to spare time for other activities which complement the modern life. As far as the professional life is concerned, the immediacy of information exchange would get impacted as we would need to rely on face-to-face communication rather than the electronic ways.
In the manufacturing sector, industries would face significant operational challenges as electricity has been their main source of energy and bulk production of things was only as a result of electricity being source of power to run machines. Businesses would require alternate sources of energy to run machines that would have its disadvantage of less efficiency and decreased production.

What kind of equipment would be required to live a hassle-free life?

Living hasslefree life without electricity would never be easy. It would require essential equipments, such as gas stores for cooking and heating, alternate lighting sources like Gas lamps, candles, oil lamps and manual tools for household chores. Without electricity, man would indulge himself into producing equipments which run on alternate sources of energy. In case of professional life for communicating information, we would require radios and other simpler modes of communication like postal services to stay connected.

Would you be able to cope with life without electricity?

Electricity has made life more easier as compared to any other source of energy and to cope up with life without electricity would demand resilience, patients and adaptability. No doubt, the modern conveniences would be greatly reduced, the communities would likely strengthen as people would need to put in concerted efforts to meet the basic needs of life. Some natural methods would be adopted for doing various activities like preserving food Et cetera. Physical health will improve to some extent as people would require to do some activities by manual methods rather than by machines, which would help them to burn calories, which otherwise get accumulated in their body when they opt for machines to do the same activities.

Conclusion

Life without electricity is hard to imagine. As electricity play a very significant role in easing our life. The growing demands of the modern world are fulfilled by electricity, and if it disappears, we would hardly be able to meet the growing demands of such a huge population of this world. Electricity has revolutionised our lives and without electricity, we would required to search for some alternate sources of energy, which would also be a challenge in itself.
