Diary game.Balancing Duties and Leisure in a Scenic Village
Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.
This morning, I woke up early, as waking up early is a habit of mine. Since it is quite cold these days and the nights are very long, one can restfully complete their sleep. Usually, I wake up naturally when the call to prayer (Azaan) is being recited. I heard the Azaan, and after a while, my eyes opened. I stayed in bed for a little while because the chill of spring mornings is quite biting.
After spending a bit more time in bed, I got up, performed ablution, and went to the mosque for prayers. The mosque is very close by, just a one or two-minute walk. People had gathered there, and we offered the morning prayer (Fajr) together. After the prayer, I made supplications, praying for the well-being and prosperity of my friends, relatives, and all my close ones.
This is how I started my day in a peaceful manner. Since prayer is something that brings immense calmness, I believe the morning prayer is absolutely essential for starting the day on the right note.
These days, it has become difficult to go for a walk, as life is getting tougher day by day. When the snow starts falling, it will become even harder to step out of the house, let alone think about walking.
Recently, the news has been reporting that snowfall is expected in a few days. Due to western disturbances, snowfalls often occur here during winters. The news has been repeatedly mentioning the possibility of snowfall in the coming days.
Snowfall has its own charm and creates a unique atmosphere, but alongside its beauty, it brings many challenges as well. It disrupts daily life, making it especially hard for underprivileged people to make ends meet.
For the agriculture and horticulture sectors here, snowfall is extremely important, as it sustains our livelihoods. However, if we look closely, it is the poorer sections of society who are most affected by snowfall in one way or another.
These days, we are extremely busy as we have received the electoral rolls for the Panchayat, and our task is to revise them. This assignment has been given to us because, in the coming months, Panchayat elections are expected to take place, giving villagers an opportunity to choose their local representatives.
To ensure that no voter is left behind and everyone gets a chance to exercise their democratic rights, we have been instructed to include every individual aged 18 or above in the voter list. That’s why we are working with great enthusiasm, and I am putting in my utmost effort. I am personally visiting households to ensure no voter is left out.
Even today, despite the cold weather and cloudy skies, these conditions didn’t deter me from my mission. I kept moving forward, gathering details of new voters one by one.
I spent my entire day in the village where I was posted some time ago. It is an exceptionally beautiful area, and towards its end, there is a stunning lake. By the side of that lake, my friend runs a small restaurant—or rather a roadside eatery—where he serves tea and a few snacks.
After finishing my work for the day, I visited him, had some tea, and noticed that a game of cricket was going on nearby. Since my office hours had ended by then, around 4:15 PM, I decided to join them and started playing cricket as well. After the game, I headed back home at around 5 PM.
It was all about my day.Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
