Connecting Generations: An Evening in the Orchard
Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.
This morning, I woke up early, thanks to the birds that gathered near my window, where they had started a little scene. I felt blessed by this beautiful beginning, and with a sense of joy, I quickly got out of bed. I performed wudu (ablution) and went to the nearby mosque to offer my morning prayer. This is how I started my day—with worship, which brings me a lot of peace and fills me with positive vibes. This prayer gives me energy and helps me make the most of opportunities.
After completing my prayer, I went for a walk. This walk is essential to maintain balance in my body. Here in our valley, people tend to consume more calories in their diet, so I try to burn some calories to maintain a healthy balance in my body.
After returning from my walk, I went to the dining room for breakfast. My happiness comes from knowing that my mother waits for me each morning, and as soon as I return, my family joins me for breakfast. After having a hearty meal, I got ready and left for the office, making sure to leave before 10 o’clock.
Today, there wasn’t much work in the office, and since I’m used to staying busy, I decided to help my colleagues with their tasks. I spent most of the day in the office, completing some pending work, and then headed home in the evening.
Since it’s autumn in Kashmir, everyone is busy gathering the fruits of their hard work throughout the year. This is a fragrant and beautiful season, with everything looking vibrant—whether it’s the walnut or apple trees, everything has turned a lovely shade of yellow. This brings a unique beauty to the landscape. This evening, I went with my father to an orchard where we planned to prune the small newly planted trees.
This orchard is about ten kilometers from our home, located near Yusmarg, a beautiful place surrounded by lush greenery. The lifestyle of people here is simple, yet it has its own charm. I saw children from the local landless families collecting fallen apples, and their joy was evident,it was a beautiful sight to witness their happiness and feel it in the moment.
I invited these children into our orchard and encouraged them to pick apples. They were so happy to complete their little “mission,” which reminded me of my own childhood, when my friends and I would wander and play in orchards. There’s a unique joy in interacting with children and connecting with them—it brought me a sense of happiness and satisfaction, as if reliving memories of our own days spent exploring and playing in these same orchards.
Meanwhile, my father was trimming the small branches, which otherwise attract goats and result into breakage of branches of these trees.
In the evening, my father and I returned home, and once we got there, we had tea together. After that, I went to meet my friends, and when I returned, I had my evening snack. Then, I went to my room to study for a while. After that, I spent some time on social media, and I went to bed at around 11:30.
It was all about my day.Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
