Hello great people, I believe you all are up and doing. I had a great day and I'm here to share it with you.

My stay here in Obubra Permanent Orientation Camp, Cross River State as a corp member has been worthwhile. It's been a time to mingle with people from different race and ethnic group.
I have learnt to appreciate people with different culture and beliefs.

Today, I woke up around 3 am so as to resume early on OBS studio. I wake up feeling weak. I had symptoms of cough and cartarrh and it has been disturbing me for about two days

This morning, I went to the meditation ground for morning prayers. After the prayers, I had my breakfast. I ate pap and bean cake this morning. After my breakfast, I went to the camp clinic and got some medications.

After, I left to the lecture hall for the inter platoon debate. The debate competition was a great one and platoon 8 emerged the winner.

In the afternoon, we had a lecture on fire safety. We were privileged to have fire safety agents come and sensitize us on the basic things we need to know should there be an outbreak of fire. The lecture was interesting as we did not just learn alone but had some practicals on how to go about quenching an outbreak of fire.

We had a female and a male corp member practice how to quench fire outbreak using a material. It was so amazing and i learnt a lot.

After this, we left for lunch. I ate soup and melon soup during my lunch. All these foods were provided by the camp kitchen for free.

I have not really been acquainted with the camp food but I tried my best to eat it today so as to curtail expenses.

I did not make expenses as i ate from the camp kitchen. I only got a wrap of moi-moi to add to my rice. This is sold at #100 which is about 1 steem.

In the evening, we had parade from different platoons, inter platoon football competition between platoon 8 and 10 and a volleyball competition between platoon 9 and 5

After the various sports competitions, we had our dinner. We were served with rice and stew.

After the dinner, we left to the lecture hall to continue with our social activities. We had Miss NYSC contest and Mr. Macho. It was a very nice to see the contestants. My platoon emerged the winner of Miss NYSC while platoon 6 took over Mr. Macho. The social night is ended by 10: 00pm and all corp members returned to their respective hostel
