The Diary Game || Morning Detox to Evening Shopping: A Vibrant Day Unfolds
Greetings friends, how are you all? So, let’s begin today’s diary.
After waking up in the morning, I prayed to God and then got out of bed. Next, I went to the kitchen area, where I prepared a hot herbal drink for myself.
Drinking herbal kadha (decoction) early in the morning is highly beneficial for health as it detoxifies the body and helps burn fat. After that, I went to the park, where I exercised and practiced yoga.
Exercise and yoga keep the body fit and make you feel energetic throughout the day. I performed various exercises, which are crucial for fat cutting.
After approximately an hour of exercising, I returned to my room, where my friends had brought all the ingredients for cooking chicken and were preparing to make it. I also helped them by making rotis in the kitchen.
We had already planned to go shopping today since my friend and I will be heading home in December. We decided to buy some nice sarees for our family. After resting for a while, we left the house around 5 PM to go to Mandi Agar, where one of our office colleagues, Vidhi, lives. She had informed us that good quality clothes are available there at affordable prices.
We reached there at 5:30 PM and started looking for sarees for our little sister and sister-in-law. The collection there was truly impressive, and we kept choosing one saree after another. In total, we selected seven sarees, including one for our friend Manoj’s wife, who is getting married in December.
We bought special Gujarati traditional sarees like Bandhani and Patola from there, and the total bill amounted to ₹22,700, which is equivalent to 1,513 steam units.
After completing the billing, they informed us that the sarees would be ready for pickup on November 17 after polishing and finishing. We agreed and asked Vidhi to bring them to the office when ready.
After that, we left and had pani puri, which wasn’t too great but was okay. Then, we headed to shop for a kurta for Manoj’s wedding and went to a kurta house.
We started browsing kurtas for Ajay and found one in a classic “Neta cut” style that looked very good when Ajay tried it on. However, it was priced much higher than our budget at ₹12,000 (800 steam units), so we decided against it.
We then visited another store where we found kurtas for 200 steam units, but none were very appealing. We decided to check again the next day, as a friend had recommended another store with good prices.
After bidding farewell and thanking Vidhi, we returned home. Once back, I talked to my family over the phone for nearly three hours without even realizing how late it had gotten. By then, I had a headache and went to sleep quickly.
With this, today’s diary concludes. See you all in my next entry. Until then, my regards to you all.
