An Eventful Sunday: From Shopping Sprees to Surprising Splurges
Greetings friends.
This is Deepak Soni
From #India.
Hello friends, how are you all? I hope everyone is doing well. So, let’s begin today’s diary.
Like every day, I woke up this morning and saw that all my roommates were still sleeping because it was Sunday, and everyone was enjoying the weekend. But, as usual, I woke up early and tried hard to sleep a bit longer, but I couldn’t. So, after finishing my daily morning routine, I went out for a walk and ordered tea at a shop. I usually avoid drinking tea, but today I felt like it, so I took a sip without resisting.
Morning Tea time
When I got back, I saw that all my roommates had woken up. We then put our clothes in the washing machine and cooked lentils and rice for lunch. Around 1 PM, after having lunch, I suggested to my friends that we should go to the market for some shopping. They said it was too hot outside and suggested we go in the evening instead.
My new Cap
However, I managed to convince them somehow, and then we headed to a shop 8 km away, where I bought a watch and a cap. After that, we went to the famous Moti Bakery, where we ordered a puff and a pastry, both of which were delicious. We satisfied our cravings and then headed back home. On the way, we saw that all the trash of Ahmedabad had formed into a mountain-like structure. Everyone was curious, thinking, “This is insane, a mountain of trash!”
At Moti Mahal Bakery Shop
We turned our bike toward that direction and arrived at the spot. We saw that the trash was being refined, and people were working there, but the smell was unbearable. We couldn’t stay even for a second, so we turned our bike around and headed straight home. Once back, I took a bath and rested for a while. In the evening, I went to meet a friend. We chatted about random things and after having dinner, I returned.
Office time checking camera feature of IPhone 16
I started talking to my roommates when one of them mentioned buying a new phone. We asked about his budget, and he said it was under ₹60,000. So, we suggested a few Android phones with an exchange offer. It was late by then, and without any conclusion, we all went to sleep.
Chewing gum and Office time 🤪
The next day, everyone left for the office on time, and the phone-buying discussion seemed to be forgotten. We all got so busy with work that we didn’t even realize when the evening came. Suddenly, in the evening, Listrin, my roommate, arrived with his new mobile and an Apple Watch, surprising us all. We were shocked because his budget was ₹60,000, but he ended up spending ₹130,000!
We checked out his new phone, and I compared its camera with mine. After all the comparisons, we left the office and headed home, where we threw a small party to celebrate the new mobile. And with that, the day came to an end. See you in the next post!
