Hi great world!

In back again with my little contents, I sincerely appreciate your presence and your presence means alot to me. After powering down my account for a project, I have decided to come back again to this great family to share again, Steemit will be forever the best place to be.

Who is an unknown historical figure that you think deserves more recognition?

Adam shomole was and is still a great man. Right in my eyes, I have grown up watching him help alot of people, he sponsored alot of teenagers whom their parents do not value education for their continues studies. Adam Shomole was more concern about the teenagers who are the future of tomorrow.

I feel this man deserve to be recognised, honoured and respected because he has done alot. A number of teenagers he helped those years are now professionals and rich men who are supposed to look at this man and give him a good life but most of them do not regard him to be anything at all except for those who has that appreciative spirit.

What were his/her contributions, and how did they change history?

In the entire history of my community, no one was educated, our forefathers were never concerned about education so also our grand fathers. In Akpata village, Adam was the only one who was able to stand firm and learn when the Catholic whitemen missionaries were coming into Nigeria to educate the Africans.

He helps with no doubts and loves to help with no praise, he is not a glory taker, he loves to do the right thing. He was the only and number one educated man in the history of Akpata community, with his little knowledge of education, he made sure every teenager goes to school to learn and now, the community is having professors and great people of wealth as a result of the school they attended.

Do you think it is important to aware upcoming generations about the contributions of heroes of history?

Yes, there's need for the younger generations to know about the contributions of heroes and heroines of history. These kind of people needs and deserves to be appreciated. People who has fought to give us this sweet and better life deserve to be appreciated, honoured, respected and known.

Making the great contributors known is another unique way of telling them "Weldone job" they will feel they have fought a good fight. It is so painful not being appreciated for efforts made no matter how little it is. So, let's make this people known by telling the younger and coming generations about them and their good works

If you could meet this person today, what would you ask them?

I so wish I can have just a minute with them to ask some of these beautiful questions. I sometimes imagine how stressed they went through to make sure they break records which is never an easy task. I will definitely ask Adam some questions when I travel to the village and some of the Quest will be:

  • How were you able to convince the teenagers to choose school over farming? Which I know so well that it was not an easy task.

  • How did you cope financially? Which I also know it was not easy at all.

  • How did you feel now that you are not known, appreciated and honoured by the people you helped to push their lives to a great hight?

A very special thanks to our contest organiser @abdullahw2 for the contest, I was greatly admonished by my fellow contestants content on the above given topics in which I wish everyone the best. I invite my friends this join this wonderful contest. @josepha @vickyson and @jasminemary
