The Diary Game 09-10-2024: Posyandu squad training
This morning started with a fairly calm atmosphere. After finishing breakfast, I started to continue my housework. The clothes piled up in the basket needed to be washed immediately. So, I took a bucket full of dirty clothes and started washing them one by one. The washing process always gives a sense of satisfaction after it's finished, even though it's sometimes tiring. Today, I chose to wash by hand, feeling closer to the job.
After washing clothes, I moved on to washing dishes. The tray of dishes used for breakfast was waiting to be washed. Nothing was too difficult, it just took a little patience to get everything clean. While washing, my mind focused on the sound of running water, feeling like time was going slower.
After that, I decided to sweep the floor. The house felt cleaner afterward, and I felt more relieved. Maybe housework seems trivial, but everything done by one's own hands gives a pleasant sense of accomplishment.
After finishing my homework, I hurried to get ready because today I will be participating in the Posyandu Cadre training. I felt a little nervous, but also proud because I was representing the village by participating in this activity. This training is very important, especially for those of us who are directly involved in community health efforts, such as in Posyandu.
When we arrived at the site, the atmosphere was already busy with Posyandu cadres from various villages. I find all this information very relevant and important to apply in the village where I live.
I was also happy because in this training there were many discussion sessions that allowed us to share experiences and learn from each other. There were many tips and tricks from experienced cadres that made me feel more confident in performing my duties in Posyandu. In addition to theory, we were also taught how to put this knowledge into practice, such as measuring the weight and height of children, as well as checking their nutritional status using the Towards Health Card.
Although I was quite tired, I felt very enthusiastic and motivated after participating in this training. I know, the task of being a Posyandu cadre is not easy, but with the knowledge and skills I have acquired today, I feel better prepared to provide the best for the village community.
Today was a very valuable experience, and I hope to continue learning and contributing more to Posyandu in our village.
